Shock? This is a solid move for both Brentford and him. Particularly going into a World Cup year.
Hardly a shock, absolutely perfect for both parties. Henderson looking to confirm place for the World Cup next year and Premier League experience to slot in with a Brentford team who are much different this season with plenty who have left the GETEC Stadium. π
Heβs gone for two years. Has the premier league terra formed in that time!?
He can't clap as fast as he used to but he can still shout "COME ON!!" like a man ten years younger. Hopefully he can grow the game in England with this move.
Christ, anyone would think we are relegated already.
Dunno who the guy phoning up is. We have done this before plenty of times. Ok he would be the oldest, but also probably the most experienced player we have ever had. Having that in the dressing room and around the place is important for King Keef.
Eriksen, Jansson, Ben Mee… we have brought in experienced heads at the right time, so it shouldnt be that surprising…
We play less games than Ajax, since we ain't in Europe…And we obviously think he's got a little bit left in the tank. So does he, wanting to play for England? How will he play that in the summer he's too old? π
Either Mbuemo OR Wissa will go. Not both, we don't need to. I can see Wissa going more likely as it is his last year of the contract.
Mbuemo better placed to wait til Jan, get even more cash, or go next year – when the lay of the land is maybe a bit clearer in terms of whether Man Utd is just a pay out or something for his career.
Best investments for 25/26 – Ethereum and Brentford to stay up. You're welcome
Heβs such a Geordie mamas boy. Off to Saudi Oh no a canna take it Iβve been here nearly 3 weeks, off to Holland. Oh no ah canna take it like. Off to Brentford. Oh no, itβs too far south I donβt know what theyβre saying like
Happy with this signing. He wont play all the time. We have Janelt, Yarmoyuk and Konak all able to play the 6. He will be great for konak and yarmolyuk.
Some people are really crapping the bed over this. Hes not the long term option but the squad has a void of leadership at the moment with frank, flekken and norgaard gone.
At this point, it is like Brentford are asking to be relegated. Their fanbase but be furious with what has happened this summer.
Not a shock to Mackems who remember when he didn't wanna wear the shirt.
Henderson ought to have gone back home to Newcastle. I always thought that if Ten Hag were still in charge of Man United, he would've gone for Jordan from Ajax.
They'll be digging up Maradona next an trying to sign him. π
Come on he's passed it maybe last half hour of games
Why didnβt he sign for Sunderland? Heβs got his tax free Saudi money now, go back to your boyhood club.
Keith must be a new Brentford fan as obviously can't remember Mee, Erikkson, Zanka or Jansson being brought in for their experience. Losing Norgaard and Mee this window is a hole there and Hendo fills it well. Plus he will really help the players like Yarmoluk and Konak develop. And he might start coaching qualifications next year. Its a great signing. And considering we've already seen 4 players in plus the returns of Nunes, Thiago, Henry and Hickey from long injuries are like new signings too.
