Winter 2025 was an overpaying disaster. Nico has to rank up there with Grealish: Valuation: €18 mil, Paid: €60 mil; Khusanov: Valuation: €15 mil, Paid €40 mil; Reis: Valuation: €15 mil, Paid: €37 mil. City played the valuation odds much, much better this summer with Reijinders, Cherki, and Ait-Nouri. WRT to valuation, Dumfries over Livramento is a no-brainer: Dumfries € 35 million; Livramento € 40 million. Buy Dumfries.

People arnt thinking in the long term, we must get Livramento and should go for Trafford aswell.
We are going to have to overspend on English talent so why pay the premium for players who dont have a chance of get into the squad instead of someone who can.
Pep is really starting to piss me off with the way he treats some of these young players. What do they have to do in order to get time? He excuse is always I rather my senior players over the least experienced ones but yet he doesn’t do anything to make those young players seasoned.
There’s no reason Bernardo and Gundo should be starting together in middle at their age when you have the likes of Nico, Ryan, TJ on bench, it doesn’t the competition start any of those two along side Rodri and play of one of Gundo or Bernardo.
This is why I don’t buy that lack of depth bs some of our fans and pep were saying last season, we have the depth but we also have a every stubborn manager who doesn’t want to trust anything new that doesn’t involve any of those old players. Akanji shouldn’t be playing ahead of K45 and if Ait Nouri comes off I rather you plug K45 at cb and play Josko at LB than put Ake on.

Also having missed out on Arrizabilaga ( where’s spellcheck when you need it 😮) lets go big on Martinez at Villa – 40 m looks like a good buy .
