Eric Dier sent his condolences to Diogo Jota’s family after the Liverpool player died in a car accident in Spain today.

Liverpool player Diogo Jota and his brother were killed in a car accident in Spain when the Lamborghini they were in veered off a road and burst into flames, police said Thursday.

The 31-year-old English central defender, who was unvelied today as AS Monaco player, signed a 3-year contract with the Ligue 1 club after leaving the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich where he used to be a regular starter.

Dier also played for Tottenham where he played ten seasons.

Dier will join Paul Pogba and Ansu Fati to lead AS Monaco in the Ligue 1.
