I initially thought it was a bad idea signing Joao Pedro, but now listening to Rory say it’s a good signing means now I’m sure it’s a terrible signing

I think the way Rory thinks about football is right. Sometimes and maybe even often i disagree with his verdict, but I like the way he thinks and I agree with his process. A proper footballing man's thought process.

So Chelsea have been good and bad. Gittens looks like a better version of Maddy. Joao is a great squad player and can give Palmer rest and keep him on his toes, and Delap is a good signing but he isn’t for the now. I think it’s too late now for us to get a striker. What I hope for next:
-Sell as much dead wood as possible
-Big players to sell: Sterling, Maddy, Veiga, Jackson
-Buy a GK, experienced CB, back up LB, and maybe another attacker like Kudos.

I don't think many people here have actually played football let alone at a high level… even attacking players don't need goals to be a good player or have a good performance. If you set up other players with passing, runs, touches that can still be great work especially since Chelsea have been terrible with low blocks. Joao Pedro is good at receiving or holding the ball short and creating space behind by moving defenders and CBs in particular. This should allow for other players to get more one on one opportunities or to run behind a less stout back line.
U guys are calling Cole Palmer world class. When he was signed he was almost gonna go on loan to Burnley. All players bought can become world class within a year.

What people don’t get is this model is multiple rolls of dices, you roll it 10 times
If 1-2 turns into Palmer, 3-5 turns into a squad player or sold for small profit and maybe 2-3 is sold for small (after a few loans) psr loss the model is a success

I think delap and pedro will suprice ppl and they will be supricingly good next year. They do have talent and chelseas midfield is atleast the most expensive one in the league but they do have best defencive mid in caiceido so i just think they will be top 3

Currently Chelsea has 50 players and that excluding the academy players and recently purchase players like Pedro, Bittens and Estevao. I don’t know how long and sustainable it’s gonna be for Saudi Arabia to buy all of their rejects. Chelsea’s approach is definitely not for everyone.
