  1. Southgate acted with dignity and respect. The racists, failed Dads and drug addicts who piled on for political reasons and cowardice mean nothing to real people.

  2. You really have to question all these knighthood 😂😂.
David Beckham: Invested in a football club in America and not Britain. Done nothing but yet Knighted.
Southgate: Won zero tournament, yet Knighted.
If you want to start laughing, please go ahead…..

  3. Gareth Southgate actually over achieved with England. Has everyone forgotten how dire they were under Roy Hodgson and the much more highly rated Fabio Capello? Look at how they have played with Thomas Tuchel in charge too.

  4. Maybe they should have awarded you a Knighthood for your unbelievable record of 76 goals in 398 games as a Striker eh Gabby seen as though they are just handing Knighthood’s out ??? Saying that he is right about Southgate as he will only be known for blazing a Penalty 30 foot over a Crossbar and failing to win anything as England Manager .

  5. Unless youre willing to admit Sir Bobby Robson also didnt deserve his knighthood, nobody can really argue with Gareth Southgate getting one🥴

  6. He led England to two Euro Finals in a row. You have won nothing since 1966. Get over yourselves, he was the most successful England (second rate international team) coach ever.
