There ist no doubt of course Theo is a legend at milan
For the new generation of fans, who don't remember the 90's and the 2000's, and only remember the banter-era, he's probably a legend.
For an older guy like me, who does remember the 90's Milan, he's more of an icon for what was to be the "Milan revival" project, but not a legend.

Average player that only had a couple of good seasons. His potential was never unleashed and his inconsistencies were too long lived
Being a Milanista since 1989, living those glorious years of world domination up until 1995, the don Carlo golden era of 2003-2007 …the painful banter era of the 2010’s …i can safely say Theo is a revival icon for me…i will always remember him for that unstoppable run againts Atalanta in 2022 ..definitely a Maldini pet project for sure that came crashing down when Redbird took over & hasn’t been the same since. Thank you Theo for the memories.
I think Milan would've wanted to keep Theo but he asked 8 mil to extend and due to his regression in the past seasons, Milan only wanted to extend with the salary of 4 mil.. I really think Theo will be good under Allegri and his tandem of Theao is a guarantee for Allegri's counter attacking system, Theo is a semi legend for me, the best LB after Maldini, top scorer LB in the club history, no doubt.

Legend is a word thrown around too easily nowadays. Theo is definitely NOT a Milan legend. Being a legend means going above and beyond, more often than not with an exemplary track record, trophies, wins.. apart from the unexpected Scudetto in 2021, what else did Theo contribute other than his occasional goals and disciplinary record? If Theo is a "legend" it demeans the real legends that came through the doors at Milanello such as Cafu, Maldini, Baresi, Costacurta, Ambrosini, Albertini, Gullit, Weah, Sheva et al. The bar should be much higher. There is no one who joined Milan in the last 7-8 years (especially during the 'banter' era of Yonghong Li) that can be regarded as a legend. Anyway, forza Milan. 🔴⚫
