People are stupid or just biased , England prior to Southgate was awfull results wise for 10 years straight out of nowhere you guys are 1 penalty away from World Cup semis (2024) and made back to back Euros finals in 3 years with very diffrent squads. Was/Is Southgate a good manager no but he got the best out of the English squad that hadnt seen Semis in Euros since 1996 and before the 2018 World Cup hadnt seen Semis since Italia 90. Not even 10 years before Southgate England even failed to qualify for Euro 2008
