  1. Arsenal fan here, fully agree. I made up my mind when he was through one on one in the ucl semi v psg knockout and you know before he hits it, it isn't going in. Love him, but he's not the guy.

  2. Martinelli isn't good enough for a top team. The day Arsenal move him on or drop him for a top winger is the day I actually start to worry about Arsenal competing for top trophies.

  3. I will never understand why people want Martinelli gone. He’s a really good player for us. Did he have dip in form, Yes. Every player does. But when he is on it, there’s not many left wingers better than him in the premier league. Please Arsenal keep him. I think the right wing is the area where we are short. If Saka is not playing, there’s drop off is massive. I don’t understand why people can’t see this

  4. Bit harsh. He’s clearly being told to hug the wing to stretch defences and open up space for others when his instinct is to run at goal, Arsenal arnt using him to his best potential. He’d do well at Bayern though.

  5. Our fans love a Scapegoat, this season it's been Martinelli and Odegaard. While everyone can see the lack of a striker has been THE obvious problem. On last seasons form, Martinelli's worst according to our fans, there's little between him and the 'elite' Rodrygo. Martinelli scored goals against Liverpool, Chelsea and Real. Rodrygo scored against sheep hearders. Against us, he went missing. You ask if people are scared of Martinelli, well Klopp and Pep both rated him highly, so I guess there's your answer. At the rate we're going, we'll sell Martinelli, get Watkins on a deadline day bargin, Saka will burn out and we'll finish second, again, because we have a great defence. Wonder who our 'fans' will blame next season.

  6. I agree with Rory, Martineli is a good player but he is not that good I believe he is predictable other than his pace he doesn’t offer much. We clearly not getting Rodrigo since Xavi made it clear he needs him in his squad. I think they should go for Rafael Leao he would kill on that LW

  7. I never understand these hate videos Antony the Man Utd wonder was the worst Brazilian to ever grace the premier league, and yet he’s on loan bossing the La Liga it’s the type of player in the specific league Martelli will boss it in bunsliga

  8. Martinelli got more goals than penalty taker saka. He's only 23 and needs to improve in areas but the way you talk about him is rediculous. Can promise trent was scared whenever he came up against him. Crazy disrespect

  9. Zubimendi would possibly allow the left side to flourish and not to give Martinelli a chance is a joke, Rodrygo is not that consistent, the game against Madrid there were 3 Brazilian wingers on the pitch and we had the best one. One thing people really overlook with Martinelli (which isn't exciting to most people but definitely matters to Arteta) is his ability to swing field tilt significantly in our favour, that cup game against utd that we lost literally our only outlet was Martinelli pace down the wing to allow our defence to rest and move up the pitch his off ball work is so under rated when we went down a man to city Arteta took off Saka because he knew Martinelli could defend better in that situation and if we need a break there's more chance he'd be able to run down the line with his speed (Saka is obviously a better dribbler and player overall) now Leao would be a different option he'd offer the height and possibly different movements to Martinelli to switch things up. Rodrygo is not the move everyone thinks he is even Don Carlo his old Madrid boss would rather pick Martinelli over him for Brazil, he'd thrive at a small club like Antony with Betis but he'll be the next Pepe at Arsenal. Other managers have stated theyre worried about Martinelli other fans might not but opposition mangers definitely takes his pace into consideration you're chatting Rory about managers dont say that Klopps said it and a few others

  10. Dont know whether selling martineli and replacing him adds squad depth…this manager has failed to make a competitive squad…u cant have one eleven and want to win trophies

  11. As a hypothetical if you could get 55-60 million pounds for Martinelli get rodrygo and madueke
    And have
Rodrygo and trossard as your lw
Saka and madueke as your rw
That is fair better and more balanced
