Jules is delusional. Benzema is not d problem of France 🇫🇷. The main problem of France 🇫🇷 is their arrogance.

You can't take juls seriously as a pundit. He just jumps back and forth. In the beginning he was praising Deschamps for his tactics. Loving the fact benzema is there and now he does a complete 180. Gab should have a better costar. A pundit on par with him who is nuanced unlike jules.
France played similar way at the world, but they had Giroud who could hold the ball up front. In this euros, benzema is always moving, because that's he's strength. That allows team to build from the back, because they lack physical presence upfront. That also took away something from mbape's game, because he had no body to bounce the ball off to run unto. Mbape benefited from playing with Giroud upfront, because he was the pace and Giroud was the fence. The funny thing was, mbape didn't know that Giroud actually made him played better at the world cup. Giroud may not be that prolific in front front of goal, but he makes those around him play better. He's not a selfish striker. Hazard talked about playing with Giroud, as he setup a lot of goal for him. I guess players like that are never appreciated by the fans. Giroud may not be a great goal scorer, but scorer of great goals. That's why when I heard mbape was angry at Giroud before the tournament, I felt bad for him, I assumed he's arrogance and accolades was getting the better of him and it prove to be so in the tournament. If he's not properly managed, he might end up like Robinho or Adriano. I've seen great players wasted away because of indesciplin and hype. Talent wise. I don't think he's even close to Robinho and Adriano, but they faded with the wind without the actualization of their potentials. I'm afraid if this guy continues like this, he will end up like that

Everyone deserves respect and no team should be underestimated anymore. All countries have got good players playing all around Europe …. not just the Premier League so you Brits should stop hyping teams up according to how many players play in the Premier League. Its crazy to me just HOW much people are getting on Pogba for losing the ball. 1) He had been one of the best, if not the best french player across all 4 games. 2) he gifted Mbappe at least two GOLDEN chances that he fluffed. 3) He lost the ball on the Swiss side of midfield and the defending behind it was HORRIFIC. Its not like he lost it in the french box trying to play out from the back.

Benzema is the superior player to Giroud by MILES. I understand Giroud won a World Cup with France and does score goals, but Benzema “hindering the chemistry in attack” is an imaginary issue that never existed. Put Giroud in that France team instead, and the end result will be the same. France we’re just poorly managed and key players weren’t turning up.

Anything to distract from the chaos that Mbappe and his ego caused in the camp. France didn't have a tactics problem, they had a personnel cohesion problem and Mbappe was at the centre of it all. Call him our Jules and stop blaming everyone else. If he doesn't gain some humility, he would never be great.

The problem with france was for me in evidence when during a friendly when girou replaced benzema and scored a double mbape and benzema could be seen laughing together the timing of which can only be directed at giroud further proof given during a post match interview where giroud suggested that he wasn't receiving much of the ball
