  1. No need of apology..he said his mind…not a must to mention africa though we cheered for them thinking that they are fellow Africans, we have known that we were wishing an enemy well who will come and humiliate you publicly…No African team left in the world cup so far so good…best of luck Portugal

  2. To be fair if anyone with knowledge to google look on views of Morocco itself on black Africans then you’d realise it’s not a surprise at all. To put it simply an African who’s black and without Arabic descent would be treated better in Spain than in Morocco

  3. The Moroccan coach Walid Regragui is the one who acknowledged us to be with Africa….that he is doing this for the African continent, boufal was shallow and unprofessional but he spoke his mind….
Boufal wants to mix politics but the coach said no to mixing soccer and politics

  4. By not including Africa, he just cursed the whole team as many Africans will not support this team now. Arabs were the first to enslave Africans. His comments just proves a lot of the theories which suggest that Middle eastern repopulated all of north Africa and that there are not truly Africans. They do not even consider themselves to be Africans.

  5. Not mentioning Africa doesn't hate me. Am with them all the way they belong to my continent. I love them to bring this cup home in Africa. The fact won't change that we are all African creatures. Them not mentioning home doesn't make me European either. If your child says u r not my mother I bet u won't take it seriously. If black people in Africa are also not racists they must not be quick to analyse and Say hate speeches too

  6. You make cringy videos, he doesn’t have to mention Africa. He can do what he wants, stop trying to save face and hold on to any team you can just because your team got knocked out. Just like Argentina doesn’t have to shout out South America or Latinos, he doesn’t have to shout out Africa.

  7. Can’t expect much. He’s not even born in Africa. He’s born and raised in France and every youth club that developed him is French. Half of the Moroccan team is born in Europe and developed by European clubs. If they were born in Europe, likely their parents have also been living in Europe. Most of these players have no connection to the continent through their upbringing. They have more connection to their religion and genetic lineage which is Arab.

  8. Interestingly Boufal's statement didn't have anything wrong and could have been dismissed as an honest omission as he also didn't mention teammates, family and other things that contributed to his career. My issue is the discussion it raised and learning from other experiences that have been recontextualized like comments from my former Egyptian expatriate teachers, a comment from one Arab who spoke contemptuously about Rwanda when told he may be deported from UK to Rwanda even though his country was war torn and in an economic crisis. These and other things have made me realise that many Arabs including North Africans look down on the rest of us Africans. I had originally thought they were exceptions which is normal but the discussion has made me realize that it is a significant number and it isn't all of them but significant in my view.

  9. Too late …. they know how you feel now.. it's a shame you denounce the country you play for..it's ridiculous..if I were the coach, you wouldn't play on my pitch again.. the world was rooting for you,. And you ruined it.. the joy to see you rise, and you fall with silly words.. Wow!!

  10. Well, Atleast, we finally got an explanation. Of the bizzare yellow glove Morgan Freeman was wearing throughout the opening ceremony. Thank you for explaining your so great profound wisdom and interllect. I'm off to buy a yellow glove myself, one for me , and one for some illiterates I ran into on the streets.

  11. We All you people are not Africans
And you never consider yourself to be Africans.
    So why are u Apologising?
    You are all invaders
We the true Africans we know ourselves.
    W
    You are all Arabs

  12. It’s ok tho we Africans have a big heart and thought the last time we checked you were on African soil and There were indigenous black Africans leaving there who are the originators of the land so technically that makes the people Africans unless you wanna steal the land if you haven’t already and add it to the already stolen Middle East which was originally Part of Africa
So sad hopefully we the Nx generation have to make sure no more African lands are taking from us 🇬🇭❤️🙏
