Henderson’s selection is perplexing. Wharton is so much more talented and we don’t have another player like him in the squad.
Pearce doesn't know what he is talking about, Players are just knackered/bored after a long season and don't care much for England, if they did they would have beaten Italy and Spain in both finals!

Southgate had multiple games just like the Andorra game
The southgate cheerleaders are doing my head in. Theres no comparison between both managers ffs. Stuart Pearce brings him up every single time England's mentioned.
And Southgate won what………………………oh yeah Nothing.
Slow motion realisation southgate was doing absolute magic taking england to every semi and final going. We were told any idiot could take this team to a cup win, you fools havent seen spain, Portugal and France roll a ball out.
I think Pearcey has suffered a few too many concussions talking about Southgate, maybe Tuchel would have had a better performance and result if he had picked players that have performed all season rather than ignoring them, then play the best 11 you have and then play them in their right positions. I didn’t even bother watching it thankfully.
Pearce sticking up for his mate. Southgate was poor. He was gifted golden opportunities that other England managers didn't get. He had the unique combination of a strong England squad in a relatively weak era of international teams, while getting unbelievably lucky draws.
His in game management in key games was pathetic. Most notably the home final against Italy, when Mancini made a raft of changes and started dominating the game, while Southgate stood there frozen, with his fingers crossed that the inevitable wouldn't happen. The Italian media slaughtered him, and couldn't believe he waited so long to make changes.
Southgate had these same results
Wake up call in a match that England won with a clean sheet & absolutely dominated based on the stats? Not a performance to hype up sure but not the end of the world with an experimental starting XI

Tuchel should have been sacked the second he named that line up. It’s an absolute disgrace what he’s doing. Managers say players don’t have experience but games where you can get young players experience you have Henderson and Kane on the pitch. Disgrace, never wanted him in the first place
Listening to these two and reading the comments illustrate perfectly one of the things that are wrong in the English game, the morons that follow it. Looking at his record does anyone think England will perform like this when it really matters.. Tuchel is levels above the two geniuses in the video and light years away from most of the people writing comments. Judge him after the world cup.

Henderson have been a top player. He is just past his best. The team selection was definetely experimental. A better way of experimenting would be trying out young talent . This doesn't help in any way. Learnt nothing.
Cant believe how much over analysing there is over this game. Are we really saying if we thrashed Andorra 5-0 then people will be positive and thinking we can win the world cup.
The only thing i take away from it is that our lack of cutting edge is obvious. 10 shots on target XG of 3 and only one goal…

This ridiculous galzing for Southgate is pathetic. What has Southgate got on his CV when compared to Tuchel? The answer is relegation, no trophies and two European finals where we flopped everything. Tuchel on the other had is on his 3rd match with clean sheets to his name as an international manager right now. Also Tuchel is a straight forward manager and he's telling it like it is and lets not forget he has serious silverware to his name.
What he told the media and us about that performance, you could tell he was angry with the way the squad were playing the match. Are you washing over the fact that, that under Southgate it felt like the most painful existence with his ridiculous tactics and relying purely on player talent to get us over the line. Ever since we got Tuchel there is proper structure and we're moving forward and are actually making things happen. The issue here as Tuchel pointed out were the squad, he didn't like the way they were playing and he didn't like their attitude and he will do some course correction with them.
Why will he do this because he's a serious manager with serious credentials to his name and he found it completely unacceptable they way the match went even though we won, he's not happy with it. He expects excellence from his squad because he's a manager of excellence.
