World Cup Preview: Good Luck Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is now back to regular appearances at the World Cup. It was in the international wilderness there for two World Cup cycles, but this is not the team that made a run to the World Cup knockouts in the 90s. Saudi Arabia is a team that used to dominate Asia and they are still trying to work their way back to those heights.

Their group does not make that any easier. This is a tough group where Saudi Arabia will not be favored to get a point in any game. The Saudis need their younger generations to build on their first win at a World Cup in over 20 years in 2018 and they have to do a ton of building to catch teams like Poland around them.
