  1. OMG talksport just let the drunk man go
At this point you're just beating a dead horse
Once pep is done he's done
Pep gave him several chances, Jack is literally one of Pep's favourite players and if he left him off that squad then there really is no hope

  2. The ship has sailed for Jack. He was an instrumental piece of the puzzle in the winning the treble, and for that we will always be thankful, but the season before and seasons after have been abject failures. People want to blame Pep but that makes no sense as Jack played in a position where players assist and score all the time. Yet his numbers were terribly underwhelming: 40GA across all comps in 9,700min is 1GA every 242min as a winger in his time at City just show the task was too big for him given the effort he wanted to expend…

  3. Never as good at city as he was at villa, he thrives in a free ranging role , being kept out on the left wing , so much so that he always has chalk on his boots. Surely someone out there can see giving him the freedom to range the midfield would be a huge asset, or is he going to be another one of those mercurial players we have seen who only become great in hindsight ?

  4. Grealish was never good enough at City. First year he said he didn't know what Pep wanted. Second year, Pep HAD to play him, no excuses for Pep or Jack. After the Treble, he drank so much that he could not walk, and then the baby girl came. He bought a big house, got robbed and he got emotional distressed. He got kicked out of the England team. What did he do best? Just holding the ball and got kicked. But now, the refs think he dives. Instead of getting free kicks, now he gets yellow cards. MOST IMPORTANTLY, there are other better choices with more energy and can sprint and dribble better. He did mention that he had some arguments of the sort with someone in the training but didn''t say who. I think personally, it is someone like Rodri, someone that Pep would choose over Grealish in a heartbeat.

  5. His drinking stint during treble win and after was his downfall, i feel. Just my opinion. He has never been the same since then. Gazza trait right. Hopefully herll be picked up by a team overseas where he'd be away from the spotlight and can focus on his game and personal life. Shame to see his demise but he can get the glory days back.

  6. Jack Grealish is the definition of everything wrong with football today. £100 million for a haircut, some hair flicks, and socks that barely cover his ankles 😂. City basically paid 100 mil for a TikTok influencer who occasionally kicks a ball. They’ve been trying to offload him for 2 years now — the only interest they’re getting is from Championship clubs and some desperate Serie A team. Honestly, Pep deserves a medal for even pretending he’s useful 😂.

  7. English media find it so hard to let go of yet another favoured hopeful who has failed to justify the hype for club or country

  8. Jack grealish is the epitome of the word overrated! Decent player no more had alot of potential and played better as a villa youngster but some people in the game really hype this lad and he’s not done anything of note and 17 league goals on 4 seasons or so is not what a top forward produces

  9. NEVER WORTH 100 MILLION AND EVERYONE INCLUDING STEVIE WONDER CAN SEE IT, NOT GREALISH FAULT, BUT IT WAS MONEY FOR THE BOYS, LOOK AT THE AGENTS AND SOLICITORS INVOLVED,MANY PEOPLE IN FOOD CHAIN.

  10. Grealish's strength is his ability to keep the possession of the ball and slow down the game. His skillset worked well in Astonvilla, but it was unnecessary in Man city.

  11. I'm so sick of hearing how Guardiola trained the skill and flair out of Grealish. If that were true, then how come he didn't train it out of Doku and others who play in that position. Truth is, Grealish was always vastly overrated and his priorities was media and endorsements (and outside activities) over his football. He is finished. Who jn their right minds would pay anything like that salary ?
