People got completely carried away with that start Bellingham had at Madrid (I did as well tbf) – the only reason he is classed as “world class” is because we’ve been in one of the weakest eras worldwide, so a year and a half ago, he was one of the best midfielders because there were such a lack of world class players about, you’ve now got a new lot coming through (wirtz, Pedri, Yamal, Vitinha, Doue, etc) who if they all carry on the way they are, then Bellingham will end up being ranked closer to where he would’ve been in eras past, where he should be. Same goes for Palmer.
