Wow no mention of the sounders 11 game unbeaten streak?!?! They're really hot right now, and as I've said before, favorites for the top spot in the western conference. That attack just gets so much better with Rodriguez, and with a game at home against the struggling LA, plus a relatively easy schedule, I think Seattle will make the playoffs nice and easy and get pretty far.
I think people who have given all their time into covering the Fire understand what's happened to the Fire. Communication breakdowns, rumors of unrest in the locker room, and tactical mishaps destroyed this team after the Gold Cup Break. Plus, basically our entire defense is injured. I can honestly see this team drop out of the playoffs with all that's swirling around them. Dax is a strong personality in that locker room, but one man can't change everything. This game against Montreal this weekend is gonna be a bloodbath.
