In out shake it all about…transfer madness eh bud… We need to keep our core players and Unai will not let the structure he has built crumble I would say confidently. Seeing is believing and trusting the recruitment and selling plan by the club is all we can do. Thanks for the content Luke, UTV
Bottom line these guys have careers and they are short .. we will lose key players not just because of PSR. these players want champions league football and not some second rate European competition end of .. we can delude ourselves as much as we want but not turning up to games last season in the premiership will have massive ramifications for this club .. it’s on Emery thou and it he does read this from me .. not turning up to a fa cup semi final and a shit Man Utd team to get champions league football is inexcusable and a disgrace
Tielemans is talking about PSR requirements as stated by the Villa management. The Europa cup is our best chance of a trophy and financially as profitable as CL.
I see nothing wrong with the Youri quote, all fair enough. But I repeat: either Kamara or Tielemans will go. It's not sustainable that Onana, our £50m record signing is third choice CM. Something has to give surely?
with all all these alleged signings and players leaving and people saying things about Jack coming back to villa according to a good source who knows his dad kevin HE IS NOT coming back to villa
Barrenechea is 24, so approching his best years. In La Liga he was playing against some of the best in the world and wasn't embarrassed. Really can't see why he isn't given a chance in the PL… particularly if there are doubts around Tielemans and Kamara, Bogarde and Barkley?
Martinez to United makes sense. ManU are still a huge global brand, far bigger in Argentina, South America, Africa and China than Villa. It will massively increase his profile across the world.
These fans bleating about treason and loyalty need to understand their place. Our job is to be one of hundreds of thousands of fans who are to be fleeced by tickets, merchandise and TV subscriptions so that a small handful of rich people can become even richer. It doesn't have to be like that but I'm not in the big club and neither are you.
Alcaraz- Sinner astonishing match! In individual sports psychology is crucial. That's why the top tennis people and golfers have whole teams of coaches, gurus, diet and fitness experts. And I'm sure many have therapists and psychologists in their entourage too. Football seems way too macho and repressed for this? Big mistake!
I don't get the issue, if he's getting constantly asked questions by the media he has to reply in a neutral fashion, he can't win, it's our fault for reading into things too much.. whatever happens for the first time I'm thinking no matter who goes, Unai and the team will sort it.
At this point I've just conceded defeat after we didn't get champions league, as I knew how important it was for us to get it. Now I've accepted that our squad maybe weakened due not being able to keep our best players. The prem isn't fun anymore more with these PSR restrictions.
I don't think emi is going united he's wanted European football and worked hard at villa to get it hes not going to go united where they ain't got European football. I do think they he'd leave though just not to united
I'm reading into this that the choice is out of his hands.. if Villa needs to sell it could be one of many.. including Tielemans.. remember it'll be 100% profit due to us getting him on a free.. UTV 🍀
I fully back garnacho, I’d love him at Villa! He’s a rough diamond, with emery polishing him off (😮) he can be a very very classy player! It may be part of the Martinez deal if Martinez ends up at Man U
We have to accept the fact that players don’t see us as a top tier club for the upcoming season. No CL means we have to adjust our expectations. Top players want to compete on the highest level. The only fault is our own for not qualifying again.
Tottenham are out recruiting us at the moment. Finished 17th in the Prem, sneak into CL, sack their manager and suddenly are an attractive club again to players. Just being in the Prem isn’t going to draw established top players. We have to recruit young talent and youth players to stay consistently at the top.
That quote from Tillman’s means nothing any Spanish player in the premier top 6 clubs won’t rule anything out because if Real Madrid or Barcelona come calling all premier players think like that nothing to be concerned about about
Jesus who next ,honestly who wants out no problem ,funny they had it in their hands and blew it .this champions league nonsense is becoming tiring every player wants it are they all good enough . could be emery has told them all any good offer for any one will be looked at ! I cant get upset with these players anymore its a job fro them hey ho lets see who starts the season 🤔
I did hear some while ago a rumour ( from a usually very reliable person, who has been at least 75% accurate in the past) that Real Madrid had lodged significant interest in Youri. I've heard no more about it since. The same person has recently said that Villa are likely to now sell the Women's team to a sister company and also sell the naming rights to the new ' Warehouse '. Whether this changes our need to sell we will have to wait and see I guess
FUCK NO on Martinez to Midtable United… I have NO interest in any deal with them. If they want to do some swap deal for a goalie they should do it with Barca for Ter Stegen and Rashford goes the other way. If Emi goes there I hope he flops and I feel he will. NO DEAL WITH THEM WHATSOEVER. They won't be able to afford the fee anyway. Not keen on Garnacho at all tbh. But I'd be even less keen if it involves Emi, what an absolute disgrace that would be. The Tielemans quote is harmless to me, of course if Real offered 150m for him we'd have to sell, but it won't happen. Indeed poor episode, but it’s ok hopefully next transfer rumours will be better
To be fair, most of them will only be concerned about one thing……money! Time will tell, but Emery, the owners etc are no mugs, so we will have to see what happens. I trust them so fingers crossed. UTV
For my sins, I watch quite a bit of Goldbridge… I agree that Martinez seems to be Old Trafford-bound. I don’t really get it. I would understand if he was leaving to go to a club who realistically had a better chance of winning the CL + Prem, but United? I reckon it is 3 years minimum until they even might be starting to challenge for those competitions.
That's gonna be the trouble now after they paid Rushford he's full wages the rest of our team what the same sort of money or they're going to go we want players who played for the club they get well paid anyway
Afternoon Luke. Players come, players go, no such things as loyalty apart from us fans. If Real Madrid came in for Tielemans, or Barca, then he will would want to explore a transfer. That’s the reality of football, but would take something big for us to even consider it. Can’t see him going myself. Kamara hasn’t signed his new contract yet, likely looking to see what we do so slightly nervous there.
Barrenechea, probably look to keep him and sell Bogarde, helps massively with PSR.
Like the many young player links to us, developing for the future.
I think all the players know anyone of them could go for PSR thats where we are, its unfair but we have to live with it. As for Barrenchea getting rid of him for less than 25 mill is madness
losing Tielemans would be catastrophic in my opinion. last season was his maturity into Emery's system. I would like to see him up even another level next season. we need continuity from players that have come in (Onana, Maatsen, Rogers are other examples) so that the Emery system can get properly entrenched. then, potential new players can say, "if I go to Aston Villa, i know what I'm getting into and i know that i will be part of a winning program."
Tielemans comments are nothing IMO. Enzo’s 24 he not a kid anymore so probably wants first team football especially after the season he’s just had. At Villa he ain’t getting in the team ahead of Onana and Kamara. Would hate to see Emi’ in a UTD shirt. I think he’ll stay here or go abroad. I do rate Garnacho though.
Tielemans wants to count himself a bit lucky he was very ordinary when he first came to villa didn’t get in the team emery made him the player he is now he owes us
Youri leaves and McGinn steps back to DCM – I don’t think he has the legs to compete in the forward positions anymore and has more influence sitting deep 🤷🏼♂️
let them go Youri & Kamara simple pure profit both free . We start a fresh trust in Unai if the y both go .. can't sell Ramsey or bogarde cas of registration for Europe

I absolutely do not want garnacho and if hes part of a swap for emi then I will b furious with the club

You’re pushing for a better contract
I need a break from football, this window is absolute sh!te
Tielemans quote doesnt concern me at all.
Dont see Martinez going to Utd, they are miles away from being where Emi wants to be. UTV

Id rather sell emi than youri.!
Did you say Martinez going to man utd? Gotta strongly disagree luke, he wants top European football, no way on earth will he go to old Trafford…..
Are we still on for Diego Coppola? I absolutely fell in love with him, when you were reading the stats of him.
No player is bigger than the club, so if Tielemans move on for the right price so be it
At some point you have to have a strong core of settled players that play in the majority of games.

Luke please tell me you forgot about McGinn as one of your untouchables and haven’t purposely left him off the list 😅
I wouldn't worry too much about the Tielemans quotes, the same could be applied to every player at the Club. We are in very good hands.
I don't think emi is going united he's wanted European football and worked hard at villa to get it hes not going to go united where they ain't got European football. I do think they he'd leave though just not to united

I'm surprised we're not looking at selling the womens team to ourselves like Chelsea have done, just to solve some of our psr issues.
I would take the deal with Garnacho and Martinez. Garnacho has that superstar aura and potential. He is a rough diamond for Emery to polish up.

Quotes are pointless without the question. Maybe the question was ‘Aston Villa need to sell players – what is your personal situation’
I thought same about Watkins videos

Emi to Man U.Wish him nothing but failure.
All these comments from the players just go to prove that they are all mercenaries without any loyalty.

evann guessand do a scout on this guy looks like a villa player to me. Not worried about Youri

We must keep Yuri, can't afford to let him go! UTV ❤

Doesn’t sound good. Almost as if he (Tielemans) wants to go out as the ‘good guy’ if he leaves.
