      Mbeumo issue won’t be the fee as much as the wages. I don’t think Levy will be keen to completely blow up the club’s wage structure for him.

      At first I didn’t like the idea of paying 60 for him when I thought he was 30. Then I learned he’s only 25… yes let’s go for it

      We can want this all we want but if Mbuemo wants 200k a week. Then it’s just not happening. No way we break the wage structure like that.

      I would love them hiring Frank as a good soldier levelheaded man manager and he immediately starts calling on them to spend through the nose on roster upgrades.

      Frank is going to learn soon that its not the transfer fee that’s the issue, its that Levy wont meet Mbeumo’s reported wage demands.

      Is Frank’s pull worth £100k/week to Mbuemo? Because there’s no shot Levy agrees to paying Mbuemo the £250k/week he’s reportedly asking for.

      If Thomas Frank gets Daniel Levy to break the wage structure and go over £200k/week then he’d become the greatest Tottenham Hotspur manager ever before even gracing the touchline for a single match.

      Yeah I think that’s the appeal of the Frank appointment some people are looking over. Wouldn’t surprise me if he made Mbuemo/Wissa our top targets

      Trincao looks good, if United go for Mbuemo I feel like we could get him.

      If the deal goes through, that’ll be Frank’s singular statement signing fulfilled. Doubt he’s hired on the premise that he’ll be able to sign multiple £40-60m players. It’ll be Mbeumo + a bunch of moneyball kids. 

      I’m fine with that generally, we badly need a RW with more to his game compared to BJ, but we still need a 6 and RB/LB though. If Romero leaves a CB, unless Frank thinks he can do something with Vuskovic and Dragusin.

      I feel like our situation with CL and the fact that Mbeumo loves Frank, we could make this happen with less wages. Mbuemo probably thinks United is a fucking shambles but at least he can get massive wages, maybe a modest wage and working in London with the same manager would appeal to him more.
