RESPECT TO USERNAME DIOLA_DRONE FOR BEING ALMOST ONLY PERSON IN ENTIRE WESTERN HEMISPHERE [HMMMM…!!] TO SPEAK LIKE A MUSLIM [AKA MYSELF/MY NATIONALITY/IDENTITY/ETC!] RESPECT TO ALL, PSG ARE FINALLY THE REEEAAALL [ALSO A PUN ON ANOTHER GR8 TEAM, R MADRID] GALACTICOS HERE!!! THE HATERS OF COURSE KEEP EXPOSING THEIR ISRAEL SELVES [BRIBERY, RACISM, SUPER JEALOUSY, ETC]. PS TO SOME OF YOU AND VIDEO MAKES: PSG PLAYED A FINAL A WEEK EARLIER SO DID NOT REST!!! INTER HAD 1 EXTRA DAY IN FACT, NOT THAT IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE! KEEP MAKING ESCUSES FOR THE INEVITABLE RE-EMERGANCE OF THE "EVIL" BROWNS [EC 2022, m salah, psg, man c, aston villa, fulham, sadio mane, n mazraoui, othman dembele, etc], LOLOLOLOL!!!
You are overthinking this. After all, football is just a game, not a job.
Even the best teams can have a bad day. Some days you're top dog, other day you're fire hydrant. Inter coach didn't teach them how to play the basic defense, which is to look around and mark the opposing players, NOT get lost ball watching with complete disregard about where the players are. It is shocking to me that these professional players and highly paid coaches lack the essential knowledge of this game.
PSG plays classic Dutch "total football" from the 1970-ies. EVERY player attacks and every player defends. Inter is stuck playing football from 1950…every player must play his assigned position and no improvisation is allowed. Inter also has no playmaker. No one to create chances and pass the ball to the offense.
PSG pressed with incredible intensity and outstanding perfection (. Much smarter way of pressing that, say, Flick's.), plus two super intelligent moves: switching off Dumfries and Sommer capacity of building up. I am Inter fan, but I've been really impressed.
PSG were younger and more energetic. Inter looked worn out
Dembele what a player. Absolute war machine. He wasn't joking on the field. How he wanted to lift the cup. Most INSANE PRESSING I have ever seen in my life and I'm 57 year old.
This is a dangerous team. The scariest part is they progressed as the season went on. Honestly Barca, Inter, Liverpool and even Real Madrid could have beat them early in the season but by the end, no chance..
Inter trash
Didnt crush sh!t , psg simply way better players and more motivated . Let him go to a club with 0 budget then will see who he ' crushes '
PSG's intensity was the difference. They rushed Sommer every time and all Inter could do was either pass around with their back-line or send deep balls for the strikers. It's very tough to win like that when you're playing an opposition where every one of its players is pressing up like PSG were. Enrique's tactics were obviously high-level and he had the right players to do it, but the one essential thing he got across to his players was to be relentless. Inzaghi didn't get the memo and his squad suffered for it.
What's strange is how the game didn't FEEL like it was this kind of domination. Looking at the stats, it wasn't that mismatched. 10 shots vs 6 shots, 53% vs 47% possession. It was quite even in the midfield, but PSG's attempts were way higher percentage than Inter's. When PSG took a shot, it was already a 1v1 with the keeper and that's basically a free goal. On the other hand, when Inter took a shot it was a poor shot because PSG didn't let them get any space in their box and so these were much easier saves for the keeper.
So happy this manager doesn't play this boring possession football. Running, direct football, flaire, skill and the players making their decisions. Puts that bald fraud in the bin and his colleagues that have taken over the prem. I hope more managers learn from Enrique ( I think he learnt from Pep but at least he doesn't play anything like him)
Inter Bottled every Cup at the last moments of the season
lucho just turned football tactics into mathematics…how can you figure this out as a oppenent?
Great analysis of the game thank you
goes to show that a pure superstar team isn’t the best to win finals, i rather have a more well rounded team and less stars that can play well together
Dembele attacked like his life dependent on it
This reminds me of the period many teams struggled to come to terms with Barcelona system of play under pep. Chelsea is the only team that plays close to this PSG system, the main difference is PSG's mastery of rotational play and heavy use of a false 9. I think many teams will be much more prepared for them next season, but of course i expect Enrique to make further adjustments to his system.
the fact Inter never used Frattesi tells me Italian Soccer has been and will continue to be rigged
vitinha deserv the ballon dor for my opinion
Failure to replace Brozovic.
Just like Pep refused to play Rodri and lost the final
From an AC Milan fan the first two goals were faults of DiMarco, potentially there was a reason Dimarco got pulled that way but it was clear the rest of the defence went for an offsides trap.
The relentless hyper offensive pressing, continuous movement off the ball and change of positions, quick and creative passing game. I can only find three possible comparisons to this version of PSG in European club football history: Sacchi's AC Milan, Guardiola's Barcelona and Van Gaal's Ajax. Perhaps Klopp's Liverpool too, even if they were way less creative and technical than those other historical teams.
exact
Don't you see it very strange that inter after beating teams like Bayern Munich or Barcelona, showing great football and strong character on the pitch, to fall down like this ?? That's impossible, no aggressive,no pressure, is like the opposite of real inter 🤷♂️🤷♂️ I think was a deal between the teams , simple equation, psg has a lot money, inter has no money 🤷♂️
Spot on analysis. Expect that team even to be better next season if they can keep the key players and of course the coach…
Sorry first 20 seconds of your video is wrong, there’s enough inter players and defenders they are just not marking their men it’s more simple than you make it. As you can see on the first few images
you know it was a one sided game when the ref did not have any additional time for 2nd half. The final whistle was a relief for Inter Milan team and fans.
The way PSG is pronounced here is so damn depressing and lame
Great video, keep it up!
Weird….
if match fixing was a person
Did anyone notice all the shots on Sommer were on near-post? Seems like Sommer's not that good on near-post but immense on the far-post. Even against Barca, he saved all Yamal's shot on the far-post.
Maybe just maybe…PSG can now pay Mbappe what he is owed! Qatar owns PSG….such a SHAM and A Shame!!
Un marcador de 5:0 y ni un solo minuto pensaste en los suplentes. Esa es la razón por la que nunca podrás ser un gran entrenador.
Great Videos, Awesome job!
Does this mean that a pure 9 is not needed these days? Having a false 9 who can roam around and be as technical as dembele, dropping deep and bringing the ball up together with the other attackers instead of camping up means getting into final third positions easier w better (less contested) chances being created, without having to rely so much on a striker's finishing, particularly aerial ability from crosses. For striker traits, being able to shoot decently and get into good goalscoring positions is enough. Would like to know your thoughts!
With a player like Vitinha, Portugal can go very far… Maybe win Mundial 2026?
4:06 'easily kept in play by Psg ' that was a hell of a clearance. Nobody except Pacho believed in that save and that was mere milli seconds away from being a corner kick.
Tactics….nomsense. They spent more money than anyone else in Europe by a mile.
Really wanted to see how PSG would adapt to a team as intense as them. High pressure. Barcelona.
Luis henrique remind me the official picture of sitcom ''DeXteR''🧐😏😈
This outstanding PSG performance invites the question about "positional play vs relationism". My impression is that Luis Enrique is already beyond the dichotomy: His is Spanish school's positional play with fluid rotations and "relational" freedom to connect in the last 20 meters, plus a German-style pressing and Gegenpressing. In sum, a synthesis of the best tactical and strategic novelties of the last 15 years.
They shouldve put +18 mark
Spot on.
