Eric Dier is in talks over a move to Monaco, with the Ligue 1 side offering the 31-year-old a contract until 2028, plus an option for another year. Currently out of contract this summer, Dier had been discussing an extension with Bayern Munich, but Monaco’s longer deal has turned his head. The former Tottenham and England centre-back, who joined Bayern in January 2024, has made 45 appearances for the club—25 of those this season—and has become a key player under Vincent Kompany, starting their last eight matches. He’s also scored twice recently, including in Bayern’s Champions League exit to Inter Milan and in a 3-0 win over Mainz.
