  1. This is all very emotional. I understand the tendency. The one thing that makes me consider it is this: how many 30+ CAMs are successful in the premier league? Next season we will not compete. Season after that we will not compete. After that he is 33. What are the odds we wish we sold him when he had some value?

  2. Well garnacho is such a grown up. Post one word 'finally' and little pictures. FINALLY is absolutely correct with the the way you have been acting and playing shit.

  3. We got the best years out of Bruno and it's time to sell and use the money to bring in new players simple as!! He's 30 now and we can't build a squad around him anymore and need to put the full focus on younger players

  4. I think it’s time for Bruno to go. As much as we all love him and wanted it to work with him in the team, sad fact is that it doesn’t. He doesn’t fit in the system – he isn’t fast enough for the 10, he isn’t disciplined enough for further back. He loses the ball more than necessary with high risk passes and I think that other players shirk responsibility for passing forward or crossing when he is on the pitch. To be successful we can’t be a single point of success/failure and rely on 1 player. Despite his consumate professionalism and care for the club unfortunately under his watch this hasn’t filtered down to the little brats that fuel the media circus every day. £100m minimum for a 31yo is a no brainer if we have the chance to build a cohesive team and get rid of the toxicity.

  6. Can we not just underpin this all for a moment to carve out how much of an absolute abhorrent disease the Middle East involvement is to the game of football… it’s very quickly going to the dogs thanks to their unscrupulous interventions! It’s like, utterly corrupting horse racing, golf and other sports weren’t enough… they’ve now moved to using football (a sport they care less than nothing about) for their global PR renovation. Hoping people aren’t seeing the murderous, amoral, little people they are behind ‘daddy’s oil money’… and are distracted away by all shiny baubles they’ve rolled out! Now infiltrating influence with UEFA in joint task to make ‘The club World Cup’ effectively their own version of the super league… so teams with the super wealthy benefactors can declare that sports revenue and reinforce their finances to meet regulatory standards, despite their clubs not making revenues they’ve declared! Get state ownership out of football… EVERY STATE! It’s killing the game we all love, at an accelerated rate!

  7. Got to say I completely disagree. I love Bruno, he’s probably my favourite player, but you don’t turn down £100m+ for a 31 year old. Especially when we aren’t going to be seriously challenging for anything for at least 2 years (at best)

If we need that money in order to do a proper rebuild, then we have to do it. There’s no point in mainly sticking with this existing squad (which just finished 15th) just to keep Bruno for 2 more years. By which time we’ll still need a major rebuild and also have to try and replace Bruno.

I honestly think we’re better off taking that ridiculous amount of money whilst it’s still there in order to properly rebuild to hopefully be competitive in 2/3 years. It’s way too dangerous to be this reliant on one player, especially at the detriment of the rest of the squad.

What happens if we can barely buy anyone this summer, and then he actually does get a serious injury? Then we really would be screwed.

This squad is at an all time low, and the only way to get back is to properly rebuild. I wish there was another way to do that, but there isn’t.

  8. Bruno is the reason for the instability in midfield. He doesn't have the discipline or the brains to play in the new system effectively. He's not a big enough presence (feared or respected) to lead united.

  9. What I don’t get about you guys is that when Ten Hag was the manager, it wasn’t his fault. You also defend all the players and act like they’re all much better than some fans say. Now you say “can’t get rid of Bruno, he’s the captain!”

All three of those things can’t be true, lads. Either ten hag was a shitty manager / Amorim is also a shitty manager, or these players stink or Bruno is an horrible captain and presence who makes his teammates worse while still getting his personal stats

All three can’t be false, because the team is hot garbage.

  10. With Bruno in the heart of this team I have watched us play the worst football.

He is an integral player and we have been poor, get rid , and a few more players with him and start again

If we keep him and he is poor then we will regret this moment

  11. Well said jay, we can’t trust ineos to sign anyone. So let’s not bother. We can make 100 mil from selling other players but what’s the point if we can’t trust ineos. Also who would we sign because the great delap and frimpong are already taken, the two only good players on the planet. (We signed cunha already btw). Hate being negative but this was an emotional lecture calling out the fans that wouldn’t mind if we cashed in. I love Bruno but as we’ve said rip up the squad. We finished 15th. Bruno was our best player but our squad is better than 15th we need a serious overhaul it’s not supposed to be simple and pretty but I like ALL the players ineos have signed so far and I trust them to reinvest I couldn’t say the same about the glazers

  12. Crazy to even think of it. You can’t replace him. World ckass midfielders that push every game, play almost anywhere , scores 15 every season , assists 15 every season….
He has at least 5 years in him.
Players like him aren’t exactly queuing to come to united .
    No way he leaves

  13. These 200 millions could help his family for generations, this is mind blowing money.

There's nothing i hate more than the prison lifestyle that some countries offer, but that money…

  14. Life without Bruno scares the shit out of me lads😮I understand that Ruben is being true to form and clearing out the deadwood but Bruno is our one shining light n putting it out is scaring me no end.

  15. 😂😂😂😂😂 lol you guys are always last to everything

You were last to realizing ETH needs to go
Last to realize Rasmus is a problem
Last ro realize Garnacho is an average player with attitude issues
Last to realize keeping a 31 year old who we can sell for twice the original value we bought him for when we are scrapped for cash and need a rebuild/cultural reset is a good idea
Last to every single thing…….your like sheep

  16. United have 0 Money. No CL or EL. With him we ended 15th. He hasnt put the Numbers (not even close) since he signed his new corntract. He is 31. He is a top Midfielder and a awful leader on the Pitch. We cant change things while keeping everything the same. Make the rebuild and sell him if the numbers are real.

  17. Jay, like the Robson analogy.. very true. But Utd need to plan to be successful without him in the team. Even if he is at the club.

  18. These guys are dreaming, plenty teams get rid of their 'best' individual player and get better as a team. Calm down. Get rid, get the money and move one.

  19. One of the best midfielders in the world? Really, so his record over the years steering this club to greatness qualifies him as great does it? His amazing attitude has clearly influence the team to greatness too. He’s a good player in a shit team who won’t go down as an amazing captain and we now accept bang average players. A captain putting his arm around a player is hardly news is it really, it’s a captains job.

  20. Our standards have become so warped, that someone who has captained us to the worst season in history – who consistently kills us in games because he gives the ball away so much – is defended to this degree. It’s possible to be a technically good player but not be good for a team. Seriously guys – this PoV doesn’t stack AT ALL based on the evidence.
