Fantastic to see the Americans and Leeds get off to a great start! Thought that Bamford and Aaronson looked a bit tired the second half, but they pulled it together when they needed to–great goal, whoever finally scored it.

We told you about the kid's work rate and ability to win, well everything, in the midfield. He creates chaos at every level of the opposition.
My lone criticism of his game HAD been his technical skill on the ball. He definitely seems to have sanded off those rough edges. Adams, IMO, tends to run a bit hot and cold. But when he's on, he's a beast.
I sincerely hope Leeds will build something special with this core of Yanks. Just don't let your board sell anyone off too soon in the interest of reaping a short term reward.

Harrison, Adams, Aaronson all mls products and Marsch an MLS player and coach himself. Not saying it’s all on them but just really proud of the boys. So glad we have this to watch all season. Really really entertaining game thoroughly enjoyed that one.
Getting off to a good start is so important when you're a bottom half club. Otherwise the wait for a first win can be worrying….
Great win, but I have to say having Bamford in the side is beyond massive for us, he gives us a focal point and brings others in to play. The nuisance value is also an underrated quality of his aswell. I'm sure defenders hate playing against him.
In adams and roca with Aaronson infront, we actually have a midfield now. So being ran over in the middle of the park is a thing of the past (thank god 🙏 🤣)
As much as bielsas style of play started failing for us last season, it must also be noted that our 5 most important players last season barely played together throughout the campaign.
Cooper the captain.
Phillips the best midfielder.
Raphinha the most talented player full stop.
Rodrigo the record signing.
Bamford the top goalscorer from the previous 2 seasons.
Amazing to think those 5 players only started 2 out of a possible 38 Premier league games last season.
Wasn't too difficult to see where the main problems lay.
Marsch's style is better suited to the Premier league and I doubt many teams will beat us inside the first 15 mins as they sometimes did under bielsa. If we can't win games with good football under marsch then we will shithouse our way to points, which I like.
But at the same time continuity and keeping the most important players fit every week is so so vital. And last season that was ultimately our main failing.
