  1. I like CdK, he reminds me a lot of Alex Isak or a poor man's version of Kai Havertz. A tall, technical CAM who can score goals in a variety of ways from 20 yards and in.

My only issue with him is that he seems like he's a few years away from being a finished product. Physically he's not especially fast or even quick nor is he very strong. He relys more on a very good attacking IQ and knowing the angles to give and receive passes.

I think he could slide in as a solid backup attacking player at each position as well as give the team some much needed positional versatility if they ever decide to go with 4 attackers up top. I would LOVE to be a striker on a line that included CdK and rhe Ginger Swede.

He's also got a competitive streak and plays with balls. Very good at pressing, again he and Kulu would be a nightmare for teams playing from the back.

The issue with him is, does he want to play deputy to Kane for a few seasons? He's good enough to start for a lot of Prem teams right now. Lets say a team like Newcastle come by and offer him a starting position? Do I want to play backup even if I do get UCL minutes?

Good video, Jack. Glad to see you back.

  2. Oh this kid! Real unique talent and definitely a big Harry Kane vibe from the vid there but you gotta think he wants to go and start somewhere else but he should definitely be a long-term option for us.

  3. Great show Jack and would like this guy if nothing else for you and darius to gush over😆 how do you feel about weghorst or Dennis seeing both may be available reasonably priced? Maybe a flatcap relegated players special is needed 😉

  4. Wow, the switch, link up play, the long pass…does look a bit like Kane. Think he'd be the perfect backup as you said, feeding through balls for Son and Deki, even when he's not scoring. Hope Don already got this guy in his radar

  5. ⚽ We must get a forward and I would rather CDK over a Danny Ings … We have limited hold up play & aerial goal scorers … 🙏 But my long term future Kane replacement is Isak the Deki team mate who can do it all across the front line … For the Champions League & bench I want to see Bale & Eriksen.

  6. yeah some of this feels a bit like a premier league player playing against teenagers or something. he's almost comically large compared to some of his opposition. Like someone has used the editor in FM to make a player 8 ft or something.

  7. Great overall assessment of his qualities. As a lifelong Bruges fan, perhaps some more things to consider:
    1. CDK and Club Bruges are torn between a move this summer or this winter. The only reason for this is the 'winter WC' coming up. CDK is not guaranteed a spot in the Belgian squad yet, although he made several appearances the last 1,5 years. There is a fear that, if he goes to a top club, he would arrive as a backup player, which endangers his chances for a selection for the national team.
    2. CDK is an intelligent & humble player, on and off the pitch. Planning his career step by step, he might feel going directly to a top club might be too soon. I think he perhaps considers going to a club where he would be close to the starting 11, but in a better competition than the Belgian league. Obvious candidates are the bundesliga or Serie A. After all, as a 21 year old, you need to play to develop further. You can't wait 2-3 years as it would stall your development.
