Paddy is being protected and groomed to be Conor's return fight at 170 next fall. Guarantee it. HUGE PPV and Roid Conor will destroy him but both their stocks will rise and Dana will get even wealthier. PPV will be at a record. Fully expect a build up over the coming weeks for it. No doubt at all. Conor will NOT get a top 5 170 opponent. That is not going to happen. If not Paddy, the UFC will pay Nate for come back for the trilogy. Probably the only exciting fight he's ever had most of his others are boring.
A fighter should never take massive hits like Paddy did. He is extremely lucky he survived. It is a big advantage if you can take hits and remain conscious. But if Paddy doesn't improve on his distancing he eventually will meet a fighter with enough power to knock him out. Stay out of reach!
