Too many big plays given up on the defense. I feel we just handed the packers the playoff spot we could've had. The zebras will not let the Lions win a meaningful game in green bay.
First of all these lions are a different team with a different attitude. They’re rebuilding and I see nothing but positives.
Sheila Ford has achieved the Goal her family set and achieved repeatedly for the last 60+ years. Get the money paying fans to believe in the team even when it is under .500. The purpose of the Goal is to ensure the money flows in no matter how incompetent the Leadership of the team is. The Goal is achieved by first allowing the team to reach the near oblivion of under 3 win seasons, sometimes for as much as 3 consecutive years. Then, with weak schedules and high draft picks, get close to .500 with lots of hype for a season or two. The Lion fan base has been conditioned to look at a .500 team like other fan bases look at a Super Bowl team. Thus, when the .500 is nearly reached, euphoria rings throughout Lion nation. Tickets, Jerseys, and Trinkets are bought. The calls for "SELL THE TEAM" recede. It is really astonishing to see how the Fords operate, decade after decade after decade. A true Marvel of money making.
