  1. We needed a right back anyway since bradley is our only one, the backup otherwise would be gomez who’s never fit. So regardless we needed a right back and £30m for a backup right back nowadays isn’t bad so to get one of his quality for that price is class. Then factor in bradley’s injury record and the fact he’s only actually started like 5 games this whole season and it becomes obvious u need a right back who can start and not look out of place, not just someone who does a job

  2. If we went from a normal right back to frimpong i’d have doubts but we’re going from trent to frimpong, the only thing im worried about personally is a slight lack of creativity via passing which only trent can provide. Defensively i think it’ll be the exact same like he’ll get done a fair few times but konate and gravenberch pick up the pieces like they did for trent, if anything he could be better cus he has insane pace to track back, like walker got done a load in his career but he had the pace to get back and have a second chance whilst many others didn’t

  3. They are going to push Gravenbach to the right to pull as a tactical right back during attacking transitions, forcing Dominik Szoboslai to drop deep and conduct play like a deep lying playmaker because he can use his superior technical ability and passing vision to catch opposition on breaks because Salah will always be on the offside line of the opponents defense giving Frimpong free roaming space to bomb down the right flank to play crosses because Gakpo will be making late runs into the penalty area to meet the high crosses giving Liverpool an added threat in the air.

  4. The most underrated factor of signing Frimpong is that he also appears to meet the Home Grown quota since he was from City academy.

  5. Perfect player to bring in, release clause, price, ceiling, versatility, injury record, age profile and connections within the team. Best of all it makes City fans sad haha

  6. This is one of the problems with modern football , so many so called Defenders who are't actually defenders , that's part of the reason why Ronaldo , Messi , Haaland , Kane , Lewandski , Benzema , Salah have all had seasons where they scored 40 + goals , back in the day top attacking players like Best , Baggio , Romario ect many of them weren't doing that regularly or ever in many cases

  7. Feel like trent was already a defensive liability at right back so they probably tactically covered it already so might not be too different though. Would be a shame to see Bradley's game time limited but for 35 mill you just can't say no to be fair.

  8. Obviously Trent wasnt as bad defensively as everyone made out but it wasn’t the main part of his game. I think we could play frimpong rb in most prem games and still win. Maybe Bradley starts the big games with frimpong coming on if we need a goal.
