    The pathetic attack on Memphis Depay’s past – Oh My Goal



    Provocative and charismatic, Memphis Depay is definitely a polarizing figure. Back to his best level at Lyon, the Dutchman is well known for his impressive skills on the pitch, but above all for his extravagant attitude off the pitch.

    Unfortunately, this attitude bothers some people. During the last derby between Lyon and their archrivals Saint-Etienne, the Saint-Etienne fans acted despicably toward Memphis Depay. They unveiled this banner to insult him: “Memphis: 5 million followers but still no dad”

    Why is this banner so disrespectful and insensitive?

      He has a Dad. He is a Christian and believes in God. Jesus came to reveal to us the Father. It is through the Holy Spirit that we can say "Abba, Father". Abba literally means "Papa" or "Daddy". We have a Father in heaven.

      That's what money does you. It changes people… Going from not having a lot to having way more than others usually can be seen as a monumental changes on so many levels. So many people get carried away and while self confidence is rocketing, others peoples opinions may change accordingly.

      Of course its not always the case.. But its not rare or unheard of by any means.

      We will see how he does in Barcelona now we need a player like him but not all the BS lately I have seen him better and better more discipline and that’s what we need in Barcelona!!!
