@nujrz4lyfe I don't think BRock would be able to beat Fedor. Brock looked pitiful in his loss to Cain. Fedor is a very tactiful fighter like Cain. If Fedor tags Brock, Brock will turtle up again. Now Carwin would be tougher for Fedor. He can tag Fedor in the clinch or straight out striking. But if Fedor weathers the storm, by mid round 2 Carwin will gas out and Fedor will capitalize. Cain's pace is relentless and he can realistically beat Fedor. Maybe Dos Santos as well.

@nujrz4lyfe i agree with your logic. Brock doesn't get much credit for his skills. Styles make fights. Brock can still easily takedown & control any HW without serious wrestling skills, eg NCAA or Olympic. Cain & Carwin are superior strikers who have the same NCAA wrestling background which nullify's Brock's best advantage, wrestling. i can still see brock having an easier time with verdum than Cain. As long as brock avoids getting tagged & uses his wrestling, he can still win.

@nujrz4lyfe You also have to ask yourself….. Could Brock avoid getting his huge head and oafish striking through the first stand up exchange??? He has no head movement and predictable boxing, with a true wrestler's striking skills. I think Fedor could hold him off to land a bomb and rock him. Then, as we've seen, his reaction to getting hit is as bad as it gets. I'd take Fedor, but who the fuck knows? Styles make fights, moods make fights, and fights can be over in seconds or > minutes.

Fedor fought like a warrior….I have even more respect for him after the big foot fight… He gave up tremendous size and reach and took one hell of a beating in the second but towards the end, still went for a submission….didn't give up once. NO real man would ever call Fedor a coward. I really REALLY hate all these douchebags that discredit Fedor b/c they saw his last 2-3 fights… Is Fedor the best HW now? no but Fedor is the GREATEST HW of all time and there isn't even a close second.

He is not dodging any fight. Dana even said it's his management that ultimately decided not to be in UFC. And they offered him so much money. I don't understand. i think when the fight was stopped, Silva was a lot more fatigued than Fedor, if it carried and the cut not been so bad, i think the end result could've been very different.
