So, does Manning not get in the HoF because his last year he was terrible? Kurt Warner had more than 1 terrible year and he's in the HoF. If one bad year stops, you from getting to the HoF the Hall would be pretty much empty. Got to love Talking Heads. They overreact to everything. Everything is a 10. For 10+ year Russ put up very nice numbers. Better than almost every QB who in the HoF. Is he a HoF QB I say no. But I'd have said no to a lot of QBs who are in the HoF. Branshaw, Aikman, Namath to name 3. Their numbers weren't even close to a HoF player. But they got in because the played on historically great teams that won a SB(s).
Bad QBs get HCs fired. Great QBs can keep average to poor coaches hired. McCarthy falls into an average HC at best. Rogers kept him hired longer than he should have.
