Again what no Botman!! Gabriel & Saliba have been taken apart by Isak on 3 occasions! Botman has played twice against Arsenal this season…and on both occasions hasn’t conceded a goal! As for Timber, don’t get me started…seem to remember Gordon has destroyed him on more than one occasion. 🤦♂️
As a Newcastle fan I think it’s fair…. I did think for a moment you were going to go with Murphy which would be wild…. But let’s be honest on form Murphy has been better than Saka this year… 3-0 Newcastle which would be 8-0 for the season… Toon Toon 🖤🤍
TBF- I’m not sure what players Arsenal have been able to bring in over the past 3 windows, but Newcastle have brought in zero.
In fact, Anderson and Minteh had to be sold just to comply with PSR.

Lewis Hall not even mentioned for left back… yikes. Trippier and Livramento for RB. Botman and the massively underrated Schar are just as good or better than Gabriel. Burn also fantastic in terms of a player who gives everything for the badge of club he supports… sometimes that extra passion trumps quality when there is lack of effort.

This game is too tight to call, and as a Newcastle fan that makes me happy that we have progressed to the point Arsenal take us a lot more seriously. I can't see eddie playing for a draw because a draw is not going to help us as we need 3 points to secure CL. A draw will leave us still needing to best Everton.
