      Happy Birthday Dan W! Fairly pleased with the 2 additions. Any bit of physical presence on the park for us is a plus! Still a couple short but hopefully the money we put on the table for Sarr is being set aside for when Stevie inevitably goes. Hope Doug gets his nut down now. Still holds all the cards going into January so just concentrate on his footy and trying to get in that Brazil squad should be his aim. Plus he still has his missus close by. Not all bad. Nice to see the club hold firm and put the team before profit. Not that we often make one anyway!

      After Chelsea got Zakaria on loan, i thought we'd go back in for Gallagher and then sell Luiz to Arsenal, like you guys say it wouldn't have been a like for like but it would have been something i could have lived with, id offer him a contract with a minimum release clause to let him know if someone is really serious about signing him, then we'll get a respectable return on him rather than our pants pulled down. Bednerak and Dendoncker… decent, will offer something different until we've coached that out of them, so might do enough to keep Gerrard in a job after the international break…I think if the board had a bit more trust in Gerrard, he would have been given a lot more to spend, but it might be difficult to entice a Pochettino… a Potter, or whoever we inevitably replace Gerrard with to come in and coach a side suited to his mad narrow formation. We've got a good side that is capable getting Europa Conference at least. We just need to start showing it now
