Since the season ending injury to Gabriel Maghales, William Saliba has been adversely affected by his teammate's absence. He lost his normal composure on the ball a couple of times after the absence of Gabriel. Jacub Kiwor is not the issue. He stepped up immensely to fill the void left by his Brazilian teammate. It could be the trust factor that is creeping in the mind of William Saliba. Understanding in a partnership takes time to foster.

Its amaizing that when Liverpool was being dominated by Man City, the narrative was all about how good City were. But Carragher has decided to focus on Arsenals players leaving the club, than celebrating Liverpools win. So which one is it. I’m willing to die on this molehill, I’d take Gabriel over Saliba for the next 10 seasons at Arsenal. The last few pressure cooker games have shown why.
