Arsenal’s struggles at Anfield were overshadowed by controversy as referee Anthony Taylor ignored a clear foul on Bukayo Saka by Andy Robertson—right before Liverpool’s opening goal. Outrage erupted across social media as fans slammed the officiating and pundit reactions. Was it just aggressive play or a blatant mistake?

  1. Thats actually assault. Apparantly the EFL and EPL promotes violence and supports criminality. If you look at the tips of Robertson's fingers, you'll actually see that he squeezes Saka's larynx. You can see Saka's facial expression change immediately after Robertson does that. Konate also attacks MLS and should get a yellow card at least, if not a red. Robertson should be red carded and put before a disciplinary committee and banned for 8 months at least. Merino got carded for lunging at Bradley.

  2. They should introduce retropective VAR. This is clear violent conduct and if it was missed by the referee which could have changed the game, then it should at least be deemed a red card so Robertson misses the next game(s)

  3. i am a big Liverpoolfan. But i thought the same. Absolutly a no go from Robertson. Should be sent off.
Also at 3:2 the VAR should check the goal. I thought I saw a leg of the defender which would maybe cancel the offside. Maybe this was equalizing justice. Either way, again and again absolutely bad performances from the VAR.

  4. Happens in every game nowadays, officiating is a joke, referees are not brave enough to give the correct decision (especially against the home team and supposedly top 4 teams) plus lines mem/women needs the flag for offside immediately, not let play go on until the move breaks down, at some point a defender is going to be seriously injured without necessity. Also F.A need to sort out all this holding/wrestling in the box, when a corner kick as been awarded . Give the referees licence to penalise the first person he/she see's holding when the corner kick is going to be taken. This would wipe out holding, overnight

  5. Football will never be the same again with betting, sponsorship influence, FFP/PSR rule abuse, biased officiating etc etc
This even happened at the UCL PSG return leg with Saka been fouled in the PSG penalty area yet VAR opted to check for a Lewis Skelly unintentional handball in the Arsenal box instead, then awarded a "PENALTY" to PSG😮👎

  6. Maybe if you lot didn't spend half the time rolling about on the floor with no contact the refs might pickup more of the genuine fouls?

  7. Give the fuking cup to Arsenal besause they so desparate😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂we much better then best team in the world😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  8. Arsenal complaining about referees 🤣🤣🤣. With all they get away with.

    Never change arsenal, never change.

The footballing equivalent of a 4 year old girl, who pulls someone's hair, then goes does on the floor screaming in a tantrum when the same is done back.

    🤣🤣🤣

  9. Premier League is a corrupt league, They have an agenda against arsenal, from the beginning of the season… continuous referee error leading to arsenal losing d match, and underserved red card given to arsenal players is just too much to handle…

  10. 😂 poor Arsenal, referees and injuries, please other teams get the bad calls throughout the season,so move on…Let it go and except another trophy less season

  11. The blatant ignoring of many such incidents in football by VAR just highlights the level of corruption of gambling officials who perhaps have had a little flutter on a particular result ????
