Colin Cowherd is joined by Nick Wright, they start things off by giving their pope power rankings after Robert Francis Prevost became the first ever American pope as Pope Leo XIV. Colin calls out Nick for looking like the Shroud of Turin, and they highlight their doppelgängers.

Okay you peaked my interest
As a 35 year old Pastor with a Master of Divinity degree who is also a massive sports fan, I gotta say this is one of the best conversations I’ve heard all year.
I concur with Colin about religion making a comeback, but not in the revival/Billy Graham crusade type of way. It’s much more in the “I want something that pre-dates me that I can participate in that is tangible even if I’m not sure about it” type of way. It’s very interesting.
Statistically speaking I think Colin is right… at least within the last 1-3 years
Also, the Seahawks will be in the Super Bowl this year the last two hope inductions they’ve been in the Super Bowl the following year go Hawks
LOL at least they took a break from talking about Aaron Rodgers and Shadeur Sanders
Patrick Mahomes is still on the top of the Pope tier list for Nick.
JP2 is definitely #1. The GOAT Pope.
As long as he doesn’t allow a false idle in the church he should fair fine.
I'm a lapsed Catholic. I think these guys brought me back. Wow!
This is hilarious 😂😂😂
Enjoyed hearing Nick talking about Broussard's faith.
Francis was a bit liberal imo. Hope this one isn't
Jesus is Lord. Look to him and live!
Anybody find it a bit suspicious that the previous Pope died right after meeting the VP of America and a couple weeks later the first American Pope is elected?
Thanks, guys, for sharing. Beautiful
Soooooooo we we are just going to ignore the fact, and truth that every Pope and the Vatican is a deep circle of pedophiles and all need locked up or are we just going to keep ignoring it and thinking thats just made up internet shit….people who are too afraid to know the truth are too afraid to go down the rabbit hole. Follow the rabbit and you won’t ever talk about Popes EVER again.
Save the Children Colin. Stop talking about Popes and the Vatican in good light, its disgusting and shows you both are uneducated on the topic
Here comes the Saint Peter vs JP II GOAT debate.
Nick Wright……..Hans Gruber from Die Hard!!!!
Not going to watch, but did Nick put LeBron at the top of the rankings. Seems like sometbing he would do.
CHRISTOS
It's St Joseph's and it is ok because it's a solemnity, which is a high level of celebration
Nick does look like the imposter of Jesus aka “white” Jesus aka Cesar Borgia 🤣
Colin, you made a good point about the uncertainty of AI. The new Pope chose the name Leo because Leo XIII was a pope who wrote a lot and made many declarations about society and economics during the Industrial Revolution and the spread of ideas of capitalism, democracy, and socialism across the world and how the Church ought to play a role and Leo XIV will likely have much to say about the modern Industrial Age and the uncertainty. Come home, Nick!
Nick, come back home to the Catholic Church!
No way you're Catholic.
Why is he bringing up Canada?!?!
The 2 Popes that got kidnapped by Napoleon were bottom of the barrel
Honestly the best conversation the two of you have ever had… nick didn't need to compliment colin 47 times as he was passionate about the stories he was telling.
As a Catholic I think it is a blessing that this Conclave attracted a lot of news media who might not necessarily share the same beliefs, however covered this event with great interest. Thanks also Nick and Colin for sharing your experiences
