Fulham’s loss against Villa at the weekend and subsequent handy results for everyone else in the European race, mean that the upcoming fixture against Everton is a certain must-win to have any chance of eighth. Everton have had a knack of grinding out draws and nifty wins away recently so looking forward to Saturday is nervy.
Sammy and Jack take one last look back at Aston Villa, discussing substitute decisions and Fulham’s ability to create clear chances. They also provide an update on recent wider Fulham news including, season ticket price increases and Fulham Women’s promotion from the fifth tier.
In part two, they answer your listener questions on whether Fulham are too formulaic in their attacking approach and if Vinicius should have a chance up front. Also, why can’t Fulham get results against teams in claret and blue?

We have to start being more direct and taking more risks, simple as that, espcially if we're behind with 10-15 mins left. Who cares if, from that position, we lose by a further goal or two? Marco's conservative patterns have a purpose, but they are largely irrelevant in that particular game state, let the players express themselves!
Is it possible that our set piece ideas were borne by Boa?
Marco is going to leave at the end of the season anyway Europe is done in my eyes we haven't bin consistent enough especially against teams in the bottom 5
I already have our 3 Word Title for when we play Burnley…. Claret & BooHoo….
This is a typical Fulhamish game to loose😭
Forget Europe. 😢
5 substitutions with 15 minutes left is fine – much better than giving people only 5 minutes at the end. The real question is the nature of the substitutions which Marco made: Sessegnon etc. As ever you’re far too kind to Marco.
I think the battle for 8th will go to brentford. Expecting city to beat palace in the cup which opens 8th for europe. They have Ipswich on saturday. Theure scoring goals for fun. Then fulham at the gtech. Massive game for Fulham even for a chance to deny Brentdord but theyre always up for it at home. Then they have wolves on the last day which they will probably win or draw. Should be enough for brentford to qualify.
Bournmouth have villa home next which i think theyll drop points in and lay out the red carpet For Brenrford.
