  1. The ref didn’t blow the whistle, play until the whistle. That’s taught to you at a young age and even more now with the implementation of VAR.

  2. Today showed for me that Thomas Frank has no chance of managing a big club and I don't think we should go near Mbeumo. Brentford's style was like Jack Charlton's Ireland tactics of lump it into the corner and let the fast lads run after it. The long throws also a dinosaur tactic. It works, but you have to offer more than that if you want to catch the eye of a big club.

  3. Why is nobody talking about the VAR cheating of Manchester United. We have had 6 cheat decisions against us and every time it happens the Premier League comes out and say that there was a wrong decision against us. We forget that these Premiership characters still deeply hate Manchester United. All these games we are beaten by one goal when we should have drawn the matches and those we have drawn when we should have won by one goal have kept us low in the table. These characters were hoping to make sure Manchester United dont do well at all and get relegated. They should be investigated by Crown Prosecution.

  4. with players going down for no reason in every football game. And everyone knows faking being hurt is a common tactic in football, you can not blame the ref for not stopping the game.

  5. You’re going nowhere without a top keeper or a top striker regardless of the formation or tactics
And until this is addressed United are going nowhere

  6. I disagree, Tyler Fredricson had an awful game. Two goals against us could easily be linked to him. I understand he's a youngster, so fair play, the lad is still learning. But he did not have a good game.

  7. 8 changes. Too right Ste. We all expected a bad result on that alone. I’ve not watched the full match yet / but the first half goals that Brentford got our defence looked chaotic

  8. What happened yesterday reminded me of the time we lost 6-3 to City away..

For their second goal Varane I think it was.. he was down injured and City just kept playing on and had several shots blocked once, twice and thrice it was ridiculous. And then it finally goes out for a corner and City score from it.

At the time I thought it wasn’t a big deal because City and the ref have no obligation to stop the game if there is no foul play. But I found it ridiculous

  9. couldn't resist a dig at hojlund, could ya? guy didn't even play ffs. dancing in souness/pogba territory. hojlund makes those runs a lot, actually; more often than not, though, garnacho doesn't put a ball in the box

  10. I know there’s a wider context, and the jury is still out until next season, but I think that there’s a strong argument that Amorim has lowered the standard considerably this season.

  11. Maguire has gotten back in my good books a little while ago. The lack of complaining, letting performances do the talking for him, I'm actually happy for the fella. Doesn't matter what the opinion of him, he's gone about it the right way. Great stuff 'Arry!

Him, Yoro and Mazraoui ain't a bad back three to head into a semi final 3-0 up with.

  12. Setting aside the team selection and context for this game in isolation, squeezed as it was between the two semi finals, I'm more concerned with the bigger picture into next season. RA has overseen 24 league games. We have won just 6 of them, drawn another 6 and lost 12. That is relegation form. Nowhere near good enough and the teams we are losing to and are below in the table just shouldn't happen. It's been nothing short of shambolic.

  13. you’re being disingenuous, buddy. you have railed against other teams and their fans when they complained if united kept pushing when an opponent was down.

  14. I dont think it's the ref who needs to learn the rules.
Daft tart twists his ankle and man u just stop.
    Pathetic.
They've been some joke since Slurguson stopped paying refs .
Seems the fans are joining them.
    Shower of fannies.
If we stopped the game every time Bruno and the rat rolled around with their hand up, we'd be in America.
    Get out of here.

  15. I honestly don't have any argument about the game not being stopped for De Ligts injury… it is impossible to determine whether a player is actually injured these days… him waving to the bench immediately means absolutely nothing and all you have to do to see that is watch a Spanish team..

The only reason the ref should stop the game for me is if the player is clearly hurt AKA obvious broken bone/ ligament injury a significant head hit or if he's in a position where he's likely to get more hurt by play continuing…

Were players not diving and faking injury for decades the match would have been stopped but you simply cant be angry at the ref for not stopping it for De Ligt there

  16. Commentators and ref? no mention of Luke Shaw or the other crap players what about Amorim so far out of his depth it's embarrassing. We will be relegation fodder if Ruben stays at the club
