Tottenham Hotspur have not been quite as active in the transfer window this summer – only signing Archie Gray from Leeds United and Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC, Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth and Wilson Odobert from Burnley and Antonin Kinsky (Antonín Kinský) from Slavia Prague and Kevin Danso from RC Lens and Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich – but over the last few years under Ange Postecoglou Spurs have been building a top youth side.
With the help of Daniel Levy, Scott Munn, Johan Lange and Fabio Paratici Spurs have lowered the average age of the squad to 25.
The Premier League is heating up with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton and Hove Albion, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Luton Town, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolves aka Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester City.
The former Celtic, Yokohama F. Marinos, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory coach Ange Postecoglou and his Tottenham squad include Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Emerson Royal, Yves Bissouma, Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Gil, Brennan Johnson, Son Heung-Min (손흥민) Richarlison, Pape Matar Sarr, Jamie Donley, Alfie Dorrington, Ashley Phillips, Oliver Skipp, Rodrigo Bentancur, Sergio Reguilon, Djed Spence, Ryan Sessegnon, Micky van de Ven, Timo Werner, Radu Dragusin, James Maddison and Dane Scarlett, Manor Solomon, Alejo Veliz, Giovani Lo Celso, Ben Davies, Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Alfie Whiteman, Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Tanguy Ndombele, Joe Rodon, Lucas Bergvall, Mikey Moore, Archie Gray, Yang Min-hyuk, Wilson Odobert, Dominic Solanke, Luka Vuskovic, Mathys Tel and Antonin Kinsky (Antonín Kinský)

We've still not reached 40 pints – shocking !
Ange needs to go asP !
That was a hard watch 🤦 …. I still say we have a decent squad …. Until levy isn't there we will always prioritise profit over success just need to accept that I suppose …. But the biggest signing we can make is a new manager , so flat and out of ideas , let's face it other than 10 games 18 months ago that's what his been under him
good thing is only few games left thank goodness can’t watch any more premier league games
I feel like it's just a matter of time until the Premier League and Europa League form converge and we level out –gonna be razor sharp as which we go in terms of the EL final.
It wasn't as bad as some of the really flat games where Spurs couldn't gain the opposition end or control the ball at all. There was a good bit of movement and pace, just not enough connection to create solid chances. There was some tough play too, so I give some marks for that. The Tel/Odobaert goal was very nice. Hated we gave it back though, when what's-his-name went 5-hole on Vic for the equalizer. But I kind of predicted a draw in this match.
Strange moment when it looked like Paqueta was crying from taking a yellow. Maybe he's got to sit a game now or something that his relatives were coming to see. Dunno.
Didn't mind the lineup, and good that no one seems to have gotten hurt. Richie and Kulu seemed to take beatings, and Spence had a nasty spill, but they were all tough and they seemed to handle it well enough. Danso and Davies gave it out more than they had to take it. Think we only had the one sub of Moore for Richie. Was glad to see Mikey play, and he did fairly well, minus the bad corner. I would like to see him play in the rest of the PL games. He goes all out.
Not a bad day in retrospect. A few flourishes, and decent defense. May not have been highlight reel material, but it was honestly about what I thought it would be.
I think Tottenham could’ve won this match, we played decently well. Let’s see if we can reach the Europa league final on Thursday and win it, on the other hand, I’m very concerned about Maddison and Solanke…hopefully they’ll be fit for that important gane against Boldo Glimt or however it’s spelled 😂 anyway GO COYS and Ange Postecoglou please stop being so stubborn. Do you think he’s going to be sacked even if we end up winning the Europa league?
If only we were MID-table, but as you say, the league is a wash, who cares at this point. If we win the EL it will be some sort of redemption.
