      Ik zeg het nog maar een keer: Oranje heeft niets, maar dan ook werkelijk niets te zoeken op het aankomende WK zonder de allerbeste speler van Nederland van dit moment: Frenkie de Jong. Dat stelt mij wel weer enigszins ongerust: wat als hij niet in vorm is, geblesseerd is, ziek of anderzijds?

      Hij kan hier en daar nog verbeteren in passes eerder geven, meer diepte, mss wat meer op goal schieten als het toch zou kunnen en natuurlijk oefenen op zijn schot richting goal. Ik blijf erbij op deze positie ….. wereldtop.
      Ik weet dat er ook kritiek is op hem door velen. Dat hij niet een team kan stuwen als het niet loopt, etc, etc. Klopt. Ook een minpuntje. Maar; het antwoord is daar; hij is zó intelligent en technisch als voetballer, hij denkt altijd minimaal een stap vooruit dan het gemiddelde spul op het veld en daar gaat het dus ook gelijk mis. Over het algemeen snapt de rest hem dus niet en wordt hij daardoor dus tegengehouden in zijn doen en laten, zijn niveau. Dat is ook bij Barcelona geweest. En af en toe ook bij Oranje, maar vooral bij Barcelona. Messi himself kon het ook vaak niet alleen en had zijn grootste hoogtijdagen ik een goedlopend, draaiend team met topvoetballers (Iniesta, Xavi en Busquets in prime time + vele anderen). Nu met Argentinië (hij is nu iets van 36, correct me if I am wrong) kan hij het wel, echt meer alleen het team op sleeptouw nemen, wellicht komt dat nog bij Frenkie (af en toe zie je dat al, zoals laatst tegen Wales uit).

      Enfin: dé voetballer van Nederland 🇳🇱 Enne folks; waar moet Frenkie heen gaan? Toch niet Manchester United ?

      He is calm and collective, he will help control the play in midfield for manutd. We need him and then we also need a destroyer to play along side him to complete manutd midfield which has been lacking since Roy Kean.

      He must leave Barça.
      His style is clearly not suited for the playing style of this club which is the positional play where the ball moves more than the players who are all perfectly positioned everytime on the pitch and in which the midfielders are on another planet when it comes to tight spaces, playing between lines, finding the killing passes, playing under pressure and turning perfectly to face the game (Modric, Xavi, Verratti, Iniesta, both Silva, Pedri, ..)

      he is constently looking around and turning his head whilst dribbling so the wales team find it difficult to anticipate his next move he is defo a high iq player for sure

      I think your perception of "destroyed" is a bit differant to most people's, perhaps you also have a bit of a struggle with reality as well?
