No, not in reach at all. All we did here was boringly and quite poorly drift past Everton thanks to Sanchez. The next 4 we will likely loose them all, definitely Liverpool and Newcastle.

Lets be real for a second. Caicedo as an inverting RB > Reece. Caicedo simply offers more in that role. So when Lavia is fit thats one of the solutions to fix our problems. Reece is one if not the best "traditional" RBs. But our system shifted. So the Gaffer either adepts his system for Reece. Or simply bench him like today.
We need to have an uncomfortable conversation about Sanchez… in a good way. We’ve all been critical of him but he’s saved us many more points than he’s cost us! If we’re talking about incredible saves as opposed to standard dives and catches, he won us 2 points against Bmouth, 2 points vs Spurs, 2 points tonight, 1 point vs Forest. That’s 7 in total he’s saved with shot stopping of the highest caliber which Kepa and Jorgensen could only dream of. He’s cost us 4 points in total, 2 points against City and 2 against Arsenal (although again the other two keepers named above don’t exactly save the Martinelli goal). That’s still 3 points he’s saved, which isn’t as many as Cech or Courtois but it’s not a net negative either.
It is absolutely true that he makes way too many errors in possession which opponents haven’t capitalized on. But if we’re judging the season as a whole, we need to look at other players too as a reason for dropping cumulative points. If we replace the keeper we must also replace the defense especially the usual suspects who keep getting caught ball watching or losing their marker.

Madueke has always been able to play on the left. I watched him play there for England U21's. Hopefully the Sanchez abuse settles down because it was getting out of hand and hopefully Neto can learn how to cross better
