Looks bang average to me, and I'm not missing the subtleties because vs USA he was at fault for their second goal because he hadn't tracked a midfielder back. United buying him isn't the best idea in my view.
At least he plays the ball forwards which is more than i can say for cleverly or ando. that wasn't his best game either. he's played better for sporting.
Brilliant performance from William. Dictated the midfield in tough world cup game. He would be perfect for Arsenal or for United.
I thought he was meant to be strong, he was on the ground a number of times, struggled to even shield the ball, I don't mind his passing being a bit off, clubs want him because of his tackles and interceptions. Worth 20mil max. Man Utd would be better of getting Lucas Silva from Cruizero who would be cheaper. imo
Want this guy at Arsenal! Definitely the Viera type. For ppl who say hes not that good, hes only 22, hes got bags of potential.He can turn out World class over time and experience. Hes has good balance, passing and strength, and would suit the Arsenal style. Besides Arsenal needs a holding a midfielder as well.

Understand this is at international level.. U didn't see midfielders like Gerard in the World Cup make as many passes.. Carvalho looks average but he's got good acceleration and reads the game so well
I hope I never see him at Arsenal. I used to think he was good, but I just bought into the hype.
