It is good that Ter Stegen is back. Szczęsny is a walking disaster. He was reasonable for two goals against Dortmund and two goals in cup final vs Real Madrid.
Hansi also needs to bring in Christensen to partner Araujo. He has good pace. He isn't far off the quickest centre backs in Europe. We badly lack pace at centre back. We conceded THREE against Dortmund and Inter, who aren't great sides.
For me Curbasi and Martinez is a disaster. Curbasi is so overrated. He is slow and wooden. Easily beaten. He is definitely not a top defender. When was the last time you can say he was a key player in a game. The best centre back pairing is Araujo and Christensen. They must play against Inter. If we play the last two then Inter will beat us. PSG would tear Curbasi and Martinez apart.
Inter had three chances and scored all three times. You can see Curbasi was poor against Inter. He is not quick enough both physically and mentally.
