Legitimately my favourite player of all time. Just that player that links football to a special time when I was a young kid obsessed with the game and seeing a young Gotze in a world of kids obsessed with young Neymar and Hazard; Gotze seemed different for me. A diamond in a special dortmund underdog team with players on the cusp of being superstars. I will always have a grudge with how how his career lapsed when he moved to Bayern.
