Wow he was honestly really amazing every time he got the ball. Crazy free kick. Insane ball carries. Created multiple chances.
I will say, his passing execution is not great. A bit inaccurate. But he has decent vision and awareness.
Obviously he has an absurd amount of athleticism and ball control.
As for his runs into the box. I think he is slightly too jumpy and doesn't have a great sense for when the ball is going to be played and how to time his runs. Tends to kind of wait for the ball to be played to his feet instead of getting the jump on the defender. If he used timings and took a bit more risks in his runs I think he would bag in a lot more easy goals, & even when the ball isn't played to him he would draw the defenders away so much more and just create free shots for teammates.
Idk. I just have this idea in my head. What if Mbappe played with the patience and vision of somebody like Yamal? Or the sense of timing & incisiveness of someone like Salah? He would be the next goat honestly. Easier said than done ig. Either way, insane player.
I don’t know what has clicked in Kylian’s brain lately, but the man has been on fire. You can tell he’s locked into the game and really putting the team on his back. He’s definitely improved
