Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly considering selling defender Marquinhos after he expressed his desire to continue playing with Kylian Mbappe, who has refused to sign a contract extension and has been excluded from the team’s pre-season tour.
Marquinhos’ comments were viewed as unsupportive of the club, and PSG has also criticized his lack of leadership during the Champions League match against Real Madrid in the 2021-22 season.
The club wants fresh blood to replace the 29-year-old defender, who has won eight Ligue 1 championships during his 10-year career at PSG.
