Gregg is good at throwing surface level stuff out there. And even though everyone is praising him for this interview I think he just doesn't have anything worth saying and is a master of hiding it by, "talking but not saying anything." lol. And I thought for sure that Lalas was going to stick it to him harder than he did. lol.
Berhalter states he takes the leagues into consideration, yet he mentions Aaron Long before both Brooks and Palmer-Brown that start in 2 of the top 5 leagues in the world. Does he really think Aaron Long is a powerhouse for his club in MLS?? And then he goes on to mention "all the options" at forward, which he only did to mention Jordan Morris and Paul Arriola hahahah. We need this guy out as soon as the world cup is over. It's looking like the US is the only National team with a domestic league quota. #BerhalterOut
Is anyone else scared to be excited about this team just because of the nations past experience that is not a fault of this new team
I am puzzled as to the lack of matches for the squad until September. This is about a 14 week break and then two matches and then another month off. Is that common with many WC qualifying teams?
Ricardo Pepe is the most overrated player on the US team. He's just not ready for primetime.
US quote simply needs exponentially more effort bringing this sport to the inner cities.
Love the USMNT, but a worrisome interview. Letโs just say when this guy decided to coach soccer, NASA H.R. recruiters were not like, โoh MANNNNNN, we lost a potential game-changer there!โ
Haha lalas is evil
Did he really say that winning is 65% important and the way you play is 35% important??? Please tell me I misunderstood something…

You know how I know Lalas has played softball, because I watched this interview.
Talk about 9s and CFs and no mention of Brandon Vazquex as a question is criminal
Greg is still on the Jordan Morris train for some odd reason
Ya gotta be honest with yourselves and place yourselves realistically.
Regarding the no9, there is no way USA can play without one. You have to be so so so good on the ball to play like that. No hold up play, no flick ons, no loading the box and so forth. You have to be technically great. Man City can do it cuz they're technically probably the best team with the ball on the planet . France achieved it cuz they're one of the most technical international teams. Plus having an Mbappe who is genuinely one of the fastest players in the world and has incredible skill at running behind, you can get away with it.
No disrespect but USA simply aren't good enough to play no no9.
It'd make you worse imo, not better… Less goals all around.
berhalter is in way over his head
I do like Gregg Berhalter. He won me over when he dominated Mexico last year, and I still support him because it's too late to change coaches now. But he did not do a very good job during qualifying, and his chronic inability to understand that Zack Steffen is a disaster waiting to happen has me very worried indeed.
Quality work Fox. Thank you.
the fact he mentioned arriola & Morris as "valuable options we haven't mentioned" tells me their going to be going to Qatar in November ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ
Everyone is acting like this US team will do something. I want to see first.
Why not do a pulsic number 9?
Best question was: why not play with no true #9. Have Pulisic, Reyna, and Weah play it by committee.
Our best players are Dest and Weah. Pepi and Ferreira over rated. I think Aaronsen, Arriola, Busio, Robinson, and Zimmerman are solid, dependable starters. Matt Turner and Hoppe fan favorites. No Clint Dempsey types out on the field…
I think USMNT will outperform and make the Quarterfinals of Qatar 2022. Maybe even more if the cards fall right.
Yall can beat anyone anytime I'm laughing ๐
I love Gregg. I was excited when he came in and his record as manager should speak for itself. Tactics have grown a ton as he has, but nothing but love for the skipper.
Gregg needs to come on home and shave that head.
one day we will replace lalas ๐ why hasn't it happened yet?
Gregg Berhalter is a Awesome and a chill guy!! I wish the him and out USMNT W.C Campaign a ton of success. Whatever level we're at whenever we're in the world cup we get the viewership from all place from Diehard soccer / Futbol fans like myself, to moderate watchers, to even folks that don't really catch the sport. We're never too dominant that we bore everyone from watching, but we're always there in the fight.
One thing is for sure, IAN DARKE has to be calling our matches with a U.S based color commentator, It's what's made the last 2 USMNT WC (2010 & 2014) Campaigns Exhilarating.
Lost me at "hello sunshine"

Dope interview
Gregggs shoes are fire
IT takes for his barber an hour to cut his bald hair? BS.
7:17
So throw the ball to the floor in order for one of your players to take a throw quicker? ๐ค
How to take something simple and unnecessarily over complicate it.
SO fired up to watch Team USA – let's GO!
You just gonna delete my comment like that? Zero and three. Last in group. I'll be suprised if they even score a goal
I believe the USMNT will surprise many teams in Qutar, if they play with a underdog mentality they will reach the quarterfinals and from their anything goes. They can play toe to toe with England. It's all mental. They have the talent and physical strength.
Fluffy. Why do u hate brooks? His answer I still donโt understand it.
USAUSAUSA
IRan is the potential juggernaut…. cuz if they lose…. they die.
We are in trouble, the coach is not totally confident
Mosse asked such great questions while Lalas sounded like he was picking random fan questions. Gregg did a great job with both though.
alexei asking greg why he hates john brooks was extremely unprofessional
Yo the random dude asks some really good questions lowkey
Gregg named all the black dudes for our athleticism ๐. As a black dude thats funny
Dang my boy is adding basketball ๐ to soccer โฝ๏ธ
Gk- turner
Def: scally, carter Vickers, richards, dest
Mid: adams, mckennie, reyna
Front 3: Musah, pulisic, pefok
Thatโs how we should start Qatar but berghalter is a bozo
