With the regular season over and the playoffs coming up on us fast, we decided to bring the ten best players in the Championship outside of the two promoted teams. Of course Brentford star Ivan Toney makes the cut, but who else is in? His teammate Bryan Mbeumo has impressed as part of the same front three, that’s for sure. There’s also diminutive playmaker Ilias Chair who has performed at QPR, whilst Reading pair Ovie Ejaria and Michael Olise almost helped the Royals to the playoffs.

There’s also space for Swansea defender and Joe Rodon replacement Ben Cabango, and Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson also features, amidst rumours he could be on the way out from Anfield this summer.

£14M Arnaut Danjuma has turned from Bournemouth flop to a key attacker on the south coast, whilst further north, Adam Armstrong is banging in the goals for Blackburn Rovers.

Finally, there’s Daryl Dike, almost unheard of three months ago, but the MLS loanee has given Barnley fans hope of Premier League promotion. Enjoy!

  1. As a Brentford fan think your a bit off with having Mbeumo > Henry, Janelt, Norgaard or DaSilva. He’s a good player but has been quite average for most of this season tbh.

  2. Obviously was injured during the season, but no idea how Krystian bielek doesn’t make this list, guy should 1000% be playing at a higher level

  3. So every player has to aim to play for man city man utd Liverpool 🙄 if you love the club and on 8 grand a week think you are doing OK in life

  4. Harry Wilson is absolutely nothing special. If he wasn't a Liverpool player who scored a few good free kicks two years ago you wouldn't know his name
