Respectfully, a defender can get goals from an occasional corner. But that's not why you buy a defender. A defender needs to complete tackles, win 1v1 duels, read the play and potentially intercept the ball and mark the heck out of opponent players. There have been games where aforementioned stats have not been up to PL defender standards. I don't see a lot of upside given his age or if he played at Leicester, he had more specialised defender teammates at the time.

Nah but he’s reliable and good for the odd header and certainly good enough for THIS United team. Him, Dalot and Bruno are the only guys over 26 that are gonna be kept by Amorim.
