  1. He can stay and be a hero for Liverpool. Or he can risk it like Owen or Beckham and see. Let him go if he wants. To. But sadly his leaving wont go doen well with fans. And he wont be remebered as fondly as other players who have left. It is what it is

  2. As a Liverpool fan I wish Trent all the best. Fantastic player! But 100% won’t see him as a Liverpool legend. We will see if legacy means anything very soon.

  3. From what the President of Real Madrid just blasted out about his club Real are not in a good place team wise there appears to be disunity between the players and I think from what he said he is not happy that his manager is allowing the team to become dysfunctional on the pitch. There saving grace is that while Spain produces Beautiful players who go on to play their brand of football world wide and enhance teams throughout European leagues domestically it is a weak league that is dominated mainly by 3 to 4 teams and the rest are cannon fodder.

  4. He is already playing for biggest club in world div. Spain is an easy league to win. Prem not…Madrid won first five euro cups when it wasn’t competitive. Devil is in the details😊

  5. How did Sky ever allow their flagship football programme to fall so far? From the days of Stelling, Thompson, Nicholas and McLintoch to this absolute dross.

  6. Sick of people saying 'if Madrid come knocking', what a poor mentality. If I were any top European club or top player, I'd be doing everything to knock Madrid off their perch, not bowing down and boosting their legacy.

  7. Facundo Valentín Buonanotte (born 23 December 2004) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Premier League club Leicester City, on loan from Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion, and the Argentina National Team. Can we sign him for our great Liverpool ?

  8. Tim sheerwood stop telling Liverpool fans how they should feel. Saying Liverpool haven’t actioned to look at Trent’s contract and let it run down they would have went to him with 18 months to go and obviously Trent and ran it down due to the club circumstances at the club with Klopp leaving and slot coming in. He said he wanted to be the next Gerard and now he’s leaving to go to Madrid on a free. With the club more set up for success than ever before, snake.

  9. Anyone who leaves a club they claim to support and love to play for a rival, is a traitor.
I'm a fan and if i were in his position, there's no where else I'd rather be. Because i love that club and the people. When you have that, millions in the bank and are winning leagues and cups there is no reason to leave.
That's me though and i guess there are a lot of fans who don't really feel that way about their club and would leave themselves for a few extra million.

  10. I just want him to stay. Pay him what you’re paying Salah, give him a 5 year, 6 year contract, whatever he wants. Buy him a house, buy him a yacht. I don’t care. He’s the guy you build around.

That said, if he goes, the club will endure, just like it did Torres leaving, Suarez leaving, Coutinho leaving, and even Gerrard leaving. But boy do I want him to stay.

  11. It would be nice when Trent is interviewed if the question is put to him ‘When will you announce your decision’. A timeframe to end all this speculation would be useful to know rather than this constant speculation.

  12. Hold on. The club made multiple contract offers over the last couple of years to Trent and it is the understanding that he has turned all of those down. The argument then is that the club should have sold Trent. But what if Trent rejected all these attempts to sell him because he wanted to protect his pay day to Madrid. Or if Trent has never definitively told the club his intentions so the club has continued negotiations in good faith on the false hope that he might resign. Trent holds all these attempts cards here and to protect his ultimate interests has played a close game of poker. This is his right to do so but don’t blame the club if you don’t know the facts and don’t expect the fans to celebrate this approach from Trent either. Don’t hate on him but let him make his choices and move on and see if he turns out like 90% or players who leave Liverpool for ‘Bigger’ things….
