      Its clear that the time for deschamps to leave is now and time for zidane to come in. Deschamps is very very limited and one dimensional manager. France have never been a dominant team under deschamps. The way they play is they are solid and defend well as a team and because of their brilliant attacking players who produce moments of magic every game they create score and win. The fact that deschamps was starting lucas instead of theo before the injury is a clear example. The fact he doesnt know how to use camavinga in the team is a clear example. This france squad has done good in tournaments but havent unlocked full potential in terms how dominant they can be and dechamps is not the man to do it

      Tricky situation. Unless, deschamp makes it easy and chooses to bow out. France will probably risk losing the manager of their future, if he’s faced to wait two years.

      i think that if france do not win the euro's they should get zidane in. I think they are pretty much favorites in the euros when they are healthy so i think its either win or lose your job for deschamp.

      He is the reason the final was amazing and France came back
      Without his gutsy changes before halftime (NO OTHER MANAGER IS TAKING OFF GIROUD AND GRIEZMANN) put in young guys he trusts and the result came out, Argentina had to scramble the last 15 minutes and during extra time

      Frank summed it up very well, on Zizou having to wait for Deschamps to win the Euro 2024. Having the best transition possible (Deschamps sent off in style with a big tourney win >>> Zidane taking over a younger generation to WC USA 2026) will be good.

      Meanwhile, Zidane could take up the managerial role at Juventus, but on a short-term arrangement.

      This guy got the team to the final with at least 4 of his starters out injured and his questioned while Northgate had a full strength squad and didnt know what to do with the players and he gets praised.

      So many brainless saying France was nowhere for 80 mins, well the game isnt 80 mins its 90 nothing is over until the final whistle goes get that in your brains .

      I think his tactical changes in the first half were risky but worked out for them. Unfortunately if it wasn’t for the Martinez save, they were doomed to fail on penalties. I think he did well while the players on that day were not 100% probably due to the illness not fully healed.
